MSI and IE8 : bad news

Hi, I can't retrieve the messages at this moment, but we know that MSI and IE8 are not compatible for some unknown reason (what can be the relationship between VSTIs and IE ??). I, as well as others, have done a complete check : back to IE7 -> ok, update to IE8 -> Cubase hang up during MSI loading. ...

MSI and IE8

Just in case someone would have the same problem... One day I found that I couldn't open my existing projects under Cubase LE, it was hanging while loading MSI. The standalone worked, though. I googled the problem, and read that some people had found this happened after they had installed IE8. Hard ...

Re: MSI question

There are nevertheless some problems; the strings are "slow" to my taste, this makes very short notes sound weak. And some notes can't be hold long enough (voices, recorders...). I know people must breathe, but real players or singers can sound longer than some MSI instruments. In final ca...

Re: VERY impressive security detail for Obama here in the city..

FMiguelez, I know what you're talking about. I'm living near Strasbourg, where Obama has been a few weeks ago. My wife works in this city, and she had to walk a much longer way to go to her job. They've been checking thoroughly all normal persons, but didn't do anything against a few who destroyed a...

Re: Keyboard not present in stand alone

This problem has been solved, I don't know exactly what happened on this evening, I seem to remember I have had a crash of some soft, that might have been the reason.

Volume & Pan moving without reason

Hi, Quite often these buttons don't keep the values I've given them. I don't know what I might have been doing which would explain that. I've deleted all controllers from my MIDI files, but when I come back to a part after having done some work on another one, or after having listened to the file fo...

Keyboard not present in stand alone

HI from a newbie,

My keyboard is seen by Cubase LE, and by my score editor (Encore), and I do hear something when playing it.
But it is absent from the list of inputs when I'm in the stand alone version of MSI.
Any idea ? Thanks !
