Re: BPM and Akai Renaissance controller...a good marraige?
I think BPM is excellent at what it does. It's advanced workstation like a Motif, Phantom or MPC. Just needs a few more tweaks and it will work just as it was designed and marketed to. I've been a big advocate for using other third plugins in BPM (and I still would like that) but as long as UVI keep...

Re: BPM waves sound quality after exporting
Loss of dynamic range due going from 24bit to 16 and maybe the dithering process algo is lacking. Just a guess.

Re: BPM Update
Saw a post in on KVRAudio from the UVI developer and he said it was in beta right now. It will include all of the optimizations and fixed that are included in the Mach5 V3. Shouldn't be too long now.

Re: BPM waves sound quality after exporting
That's because (and I have no clue why they did this) BPM only exports to 16bit while it operates at 24bit. Seems to me we should have been given an option as to which way we wanted to export. Anyway, the workaround is to load BPM into a DAW and export using the DAW and not BPM.

Re: BPM 2.0 integrated with MACH FIVE 3?
Not to high-jack your thread but you got me thinking about BPM 2.0. As far as workflow we need drag-drop/ right-click copying of scenes and patterns. A visual layout would speed up arranging drastically. What we have works well but any improvement to reduce mouse clicks with visual representation wo...

Re: BPM 2.0 integrated with MACH FIVE 3?
The would both awesome and smart for Motu. It would be so inspiring to sequence with BPM (standalone) and trigger M5 or its sample libraries. Maybe add an M5 Player output to BPM or (more realistically) the M5 sample playback engine itself to BPM. Thats one gripe I've always had with BPM. But being ...

Cool. Glad you got it worked all out (as best as you can I suppose). Tell me...What makes you choose BPM over Maschine? I've be considering it myself yet at the same time BPM has proven to be a good fit for me minus the fact that I can't use any of my other sample libraries within it. But I found me...

Re: Bpm pro's and cons/help (new user) is this possible??
Wow those are some great questions. So far I have not found a to spread a sample across all pads/keys other than putting it in the racks. Hopefully the pads will a like functionality of the racks and vice versa. That would open the workflow even more add to creativity. Looking into your other questi...

BPM 2.0 ?
Ok...I'll need a late pass on this one guys. Apparently UVI teamed up with producer David Guetta to create Electrobeats. If you don't know what it is check it out here: http://www.uvi.net/electrobeats_david-guetta_en.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; After checking out som...

Re: Have I made a mistake buying BPM 1.5?
Yes you can do 16 levels (actually more than that) but not on the pads. You have to drop a sample on the a rack. Works fine and even has OK pitch time stretching.

Re: BPM OFFICAL UPDATE DETAILS
one thing that was requested before I was a MIDI out, I have to admit that this has not been included in this update and I will say there are no plans to add this feature at the present time. ssp Yeah I was a big advocate for this but SaintJoe posted a comment on his blog about wishing BPM could op...

Re: Difference between Scene and Pattern
Just a create a blank pattern to called "mute" to get the same result. Thing is you can assign the same pattern to many scenes. Then its as simple as selecting it for any particular scene. Saved mute info would be cool though.
