Re: I run flawless Motu setup what about you?

When I first switched over to a DAW based system for recording music decided to go the laptop route. I am now using a ADK pro audio laptop that is f'n awesome, 7200 rpm external Glyph drive Well I didn't say my setup do not run well but I had to do a few tweaks and find some good quality hard-to-fi...

Re: I run flawless Motu setup what about you?

I am so tired of reading all the bad vibes in these forums about MOTU. Sigh - I wonder why - People you need to do research before putting your setups together...I see that 95% of the problem in here is YOU!!! The first thing you need to realize is that your hardware and software is NOT going to wo...

Re: New drivers available: 3.7.37320

What about selling this semi-functioning piece of junk to some MOTU hyped audio n00b ? They work good for my MK3 ultralite under win7 & vista (basic functionallity), but the driver is still far from optimised. For example - CUEMIX console eats up resources in win 7 like crasy... It would be nice...

Re: MOTU ultralite mk2 + windows 7 x64

I had quite a few problems until I changed my FW adapter. It was Texas Instr. like advertised on the main site, but I got BSODs all over the place. I use another (*old Sound Blaster Audigy's FW throughoutput ?!*) and it runs perfectly. I figured that if I change it for some VIA or similar the proble...

@ APADRecordings If you want to be portable then it is ok with a single monitor. 20" is big enough. But I was talking about making music in some studio room with a lot of software plugins... I worked in a room with 2 x 26" flat screen monitors and it was very pleasant experience. I have on...

Re: Motu Ultralite MK3 and phones output problem

Additional explanation: On the other interfaces you get at least one DAW input which you can route through mixer. In cuemix - every physical input goes through it's DSP mixer, but there is no DAW channel routed. Instead you send an audio DIRECTLY to an ASIO output hardwired to the physical outs - af...

First connect your SPDIF OUT to it's SPDIF IN with RCA to RCA male connector cable Then setup your winamp like this http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/tt333/psionicX/Capture3.jpg When done with the winamp, setup your CUEMIX like this : http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/tt333/psionicX/Capture2.jpg T...

New driver works wonderfully well. The routing problem has been fixed. The new phase meter is better than what I had envisioned. The diagnostic capabilities are absolutely astounding and I have numerous projects where these will be used. I have a place I record several times a year and have never b...

so people, is the buggy asio section that shifts the outs fixed now? can't wait to try it Ahhh, finally... They really did it... :) No asio misrouting ! Confirmed crash when changing buffer lenght in Cubase5 but it is not such a headache because i've seen a lot of interfaces doing this. Haven't pla...
