Re: Why is DP changing playback speed when I import audio files?
check your pref settings under import audio as regards sample rate conversion. sounds like you're playing back a lower sample rate at a higher value in name only.

Re: feedback on hardware insert
From your description it appears that you are attempting to use the insert on your SC 8000 to connect to the insert (plugin) in DP. Try runnig the insert send (from the DAW) into your track input instead, using the track output as the return. I believe if you are connecting an insert to another inse...

That way, it would seem to accomplish the task of establishing ...

Re: Does a playlist/arrange track feature exist in DP?
somehow, I fell as though my communication skills are lacking in this discussion, so here is an example of how I use this function: Just in the spirit of attempting to clarify my post: Order of chunks: A B C D E F Engage "chain Chunks" and hit spacebar.. Now the chunks will play sequential...

Re: Does a playlist/arrange track feature exist in DP?
If one manually changes the order of the chunks (in the chunks window) during playback, that can create problems.. However, the system is designed to accept simple one key identifiers to manipulate the "next" chunk in the playing order without a hitch. You simply assign each chunk it's uni...

Re: Does a playlist/arrange track feature exist in DP?
When using either the "chain chunks" command (for continuous play, or the "cue chunks" command (for manual initiation of a chunk), there is a quite elegant solution for (user initiated) switching from one chunk to another with seamless operation. There is no need to use the Song ...

DP8 crash
When using slow forward or fast forward on a rather large movie project, DP8 crashed repeatedly. also, the keystroke shortcuts for different tools (i.e.: pencil, arrow etc) were unstable and frequently nonfunctional) This was a project that was started in DP7.24 and was solid in that environment.
