Setting a Specific Amount of Pitch Shift in Real Time-Solved

I've been using the IRCAM TS2 for a while as a standalone. For my ears, it is the most transparent way to shift full stereo mixes in time or tempo. I don't think it is available as a plugin, but that would be very cool. Apparently, still as a standalone only. http://www.ircamlab.com/products/p1680-...

Re: Setting a Specific Amount of Pitch Shift in Real Time-So

Thanks Buzzy. That does it. I thought this command was a background thing -- not real time. It's odd, I tried the same thing in the spectral processing window and it took a few minutes to process the soundbite. Transpose works immediately, and sounds as good for a few cents. I would have expected t...

Re: Setting a Specific Amount of Pitch Shift in Real Time

Bayswater, I had a second and I took a look at a project that I'm working on. Dunno if this will help much, but if you select a soundbite and then go to Region>Transpose (or Command 9) the Transpose window appears. On the top right, select (or make sure that the box is checked) "Transpose Audio...

Re: Digital Performer not recording any audio

Need a little more info, but if you tap on the mic or sing into it are you seeing any meters bounce?

That would indicate that DP is seeing the audio.

And you're positive that the mic or mic pre is connected to the same input as your armed track?

Beginner's Guide to Digital Performer 9.5

Over at Groove3.com, there are 2 tutorials on DP8. Pretty close to 9.5 in a lot of respects.

EDIT: And one for DP 9.

Okay!... Updated my secondary SSD Sierra drive to High Sierra/new firmware. Everything seems good. However, when I boot up from my primary SSD drive with 10.8.5, I get this in reference to my updated High Sierra drive... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/8cfc019a3bd1785dc0289584ed5d7531.jpg ...

Thanks, Mike.

Possibly, it was your other thread, re: removing drives, that prompted my question!

Appreciate it!

Re: Latest update to High Sierra is out (10.13.4). . .

Am I correct in assuming (seems like I read this somewhere!) that if I want to upgrade my secondary SSD from Sierra to High Sierra that I should, perhaps, remove the 10.8.5 SSD from the drive bay prior to the boot up and the process? The 10.8.5 drive is my primary drive. Currently, if I want to boot...
