Just got ARC myself
Just got it. I have yet to form an opinion since I'm just getting into it. It seems most people who have not used it think its snake oil but for those who have it fall in love with it. I'm impressed so far but I have yet to start and finish a project with ARC. I'll follow up. My room has some decent...

May be a send to the delay plugin
I will admit I did not have time to read this entire thread but I to have had problems with a really loud blast of white noise on some mixes. It seems to happen during passages in which I use substantial delay but I'm still not sure. It may be a combination of volume and delay build up. Sorry no rea...

repeat crash when hitting stop button???
When I hit the stop button or space bar for that matter DP freezes up.
The stop button appears to be permanently stuck.
VERY ANNOYING TO SAY THE LEAST!!
It seems to happen on older 4.6 projects.
Any ideas to solve this?
Thanks

Sidechaining only seems to work in DP with MAS plugins. I had the same problem with Metric Halo Channel Strip. When I used the MAS version it worked. I feel it is time for DP to Ditch MAS and build a proper AU version that supports sidechaining. Oh and move to AIFF or WAVE format. We need to join th...

Use your ears or save some money. your choice. MAN UP! lol
Hey everyone. Just wanted to simplify things a bit if possible. If a few hundred bucks will make or break you then avoid the mod. If you have some spare cash and a spare interface that your not entirely impressed with then do the mod. It takes a leap of faith in the mod but I did it and I was very V...

Is it ok to record with the stock interface and mix on the modded interface, or should I just get both modded??? I have yet to record any external audio yet but I'm sure i will be more than happy with the results. I feel that my music would sound better if tracked after the mods were done. But I wo...

Just got the mod done on my 2408 mk3
So here is the deal for me. Matt over at BLA seems very down to earth and anwers my emails quickly. I sent the unit in without the PCI card to get the ins and outs done as well as the clock. It took about a week. Just a note: I wanted to make sure everything was upgraded including the headphone amp ...

I think its lame too
I'm pretty new to the UAD myself. I waited a long time and jumped on board with the ultra pack. For all those who think we are just miserable complainers I ask you this. How hard would it have been to place two chips on the new card to double the power? I'm no engineer but common sense tells me it w...

OK. Here is what i want.
Number 1 - More stability? Of course. It's a no brainer. Number 2 - Track folders. So I could group all my drums together and keep my screen less cluttered on those 64 track masterpieces. Number 3 - Being able to open up multiple track windows. Say one for audio tracks and one for Subs as an example...

Re: Dithering in the box
Thanks Brad, My question is more about technique though. If you were to dither in the box, how would it be done? I mean the master clock of the whole project is 44.1 24bit. If I change the clock to 44.1 16 bit. The files will not play unless I convert them all to 16. Whish defeats the purpose. Is th...
