Re: DP 7.24 saved project, DP crashed. Project file gone!

I save a new "version" every time I think I might want to possibly back up a step. we're talking about taking seconds to do, so I don't see the problem. it does sounds like a new version was never saved and IMNSHO that's not a good idea at all.

Re: DP 7.24 saved project, DP crashed. Project file gone!

It sounds as if you were saving over the same file all the time, is this correct? I never do that. I always save files with a new name based on the date and a letter version. Like so: MyFile-20130502a MyFile-20130502b MyFile-20130503a MyFile-20130503b MyFile-20130503c MyFile-20130503d They sort nice...

Awright, now what's he got to complain about? You just have an answer for everything, and that took away his mojo. Now he has no choice but to go do what you said. Geez. Doncha love it when that happens? Shoosh WTF Shooshie, whhoever you are... I thought that this was a conversation about wha...

Re: DP 8.1 Wishlist

I don't like that you have to double click to open a plugin window. Single click would be much better. Plus I wish the plugins would stay on top. I also would like to have the option to only have a single plugin window open at a time, a-la (dare I say it) Pro Tools. It works well...

Re: Nucleus and DP

hey Thomas -

I have a Nucleus that I recently purchased. I've been using it with ProTools, but I want to get it going with DP 7.24. what should I use for a profile? there is not one for DP. do I have to modify one of the ones like Nuendo or something?

thanks

sounds like you had some sort of system issue. I've used a MCU and 2 extenders for 3 years with no issues at all.

Re: Waves plug-ins

I have the Maserati collection & I like it a lot. sure I can spend a lot of time putting together several plugs to get the same effects, but these are darn nice & quick. that said they do take up some processor ticks, so when I can I use my UAD2 stuff.
