Re: NEW STICKY FOR DRIVER DOWNLOADS!!
I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro x64 and installed the latest MOTU audio drivers for my 24IO. Performance is horrible. With an audio buffer of 128, I can't even open 1 VSTi without getting pops, crackles and dropouts  I hope MOTU will release an updated driver soon with full Windows 10 s...

Re: MOTU PCI-424 Windows 8 Pro x64 BSOD
Just want to let you guys know that the BSOD's at cold boot and after resume from sleep have been solved by installing the latest BIOS for my Motherboard. This completely solved all issues I had with the MOTU PCI-424 55333 drivers.
Hooray!

Re: MOTU PCI-424 Windows 8 Pro x64 BSOD
Ultimate, you can upload the crash dump and I'll check it for ya...very likely something else is your problem, but not 100% sure until I see it. @OP: Yep, see here: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=51005 Although actually now without changing MOTU driver, my system has been ...

MOTU PCI-424 Windows 8 Pro x64 BSOD
Hi guys, I thought I'd share my experience with the PCI-424 card and Windows 8 Pro x64 RTM. See my signature for my hardware config. The driver (v.55333, but also the previous one) causes Windows to crash during cold boot and resume from sleep with a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Blue Screen. I'm pretty su...

Re: MOTU PCIe-424 experiences in Windows 8 x64
I have to say, even after a few weeks, I am no fan of the Windows 8 UI - yuk! What were they thinking? :banghead: Well, I have to disagree on that one. I like the fact that Microsoft had the guts to make a change. And after a day usage, I don't want to go back to Windows 7 at all! The way Windows 8...

Re: MOTU PCIe-424 experiences in Windows 8 x64
So I've been running Sonar X1 on Windows 8 x64 for a couple of weeks now. Here's what I've found to date... Windows 8 often crashes with an IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL error at boot time, which seems to relate to the MOTU drivers. If you reboot, more often than not the PC will boot OK and you are good to...

First of all, watch out with the letter size dude...
Are you talking about mixing the audio channels of your hardware or MIDI signals?

Re: PCI 424 shutdown-reboot issue
First of all, install at least Windows XP SP2... Please... Windows 2000 as DAW... no. Second, try updating the drivers for your motherboard or see if there is a BIOS update for your board. You can also try moving the PCI card to another slot if you have an additional slot available. Third, install a...

Re: PCI 424 Installation Help on Vista
Yeah I've done all of that though and still no luck at all. I noticed after I reboot my computer and windows finds new hardware at startup it calls in just a "PCI Device" and tries to locate drivers and install. Shouldn't it call it a PCI-424 or something less generic? I'm guessing it doe...

Re: PCI 424 Installation Help on Vista
First: Are you sure you have the 32bit version of Windows? Second: Unpack the zip file first (don't run the setup from within the zip!). Then right click on the setup and choose "Run as administrator" Follow the onscreen steps and after installation reboot your computer. Windows should ins...

Re: Pops, crackles and distortion with MOTU 24IO
Just curious if this one got resolved, did you patch Cubase to 5.0.1? Reverence is a resource pig, even after the patch it still demands a lot of resources. What is the result if you run a plain mix, no plugs, just audio files? I am seriously considering a move to MOTU for the 24io and am currently...

New PCI-424 Drivers: v.1.6.9.2
Please post your experiences with the new 1.6.9.2 PCI-424 drivers here. I will test this new driver as soon as I get home. But already there are a few people who solved all of their problems by installing these new drivers.
