Re: Commands - Is There a Way to Launch a Mach Five

I didn't know about the color thing!
I've always created VRack tracks in the TO first just so I could choose colors.

[quote="grimepoch".I still have to set it to NOT think the MIDI device I want to record with is my Tranzport! :)[/quote]

LOL... what? Tranzport isn't your preferred method of triggering your synths?

Re: Commands - Is There a Way to Launch a Mach Five

This is not the hugest concern but if i didn't append "copy" then the output on the MIDI track would automatically work. As of now, I have to changed the MIDI output to the new name of "copy." Hey, this is quicker for sure. But just wondering if you know what's up with the appen...

Well, someone mentioned you can change the default Audio Output by moving that bundle to the top of the list in audio bundles. SO, is there a way to change the default MIDI output to a VI that is always loaded from the moment a template is opened?

Re: Commands - Is There a Way to Launch a Mach Five

Re-reading your post, I think you'd benefit from learning how to use V-Racks. Once you set up your instruments in V-racks, all you have to do is add a MIDI track any time you want another track of that instrument. i think sidechain for au is broken. not sure if it's just in dp, or au in general. i don't think i know of one au plug that has working sidechain...i know mh channelstrip doesn't. i used it frequently on the ppc mas version, but it has not been ported to intel mas yet. kell that's what I thought......

ill check out both suggestions and see what works best for me... thanks guys :)
