Well, I keep a bunch of them in my V-Rack, but those that aren't in use get switched off with the "Enable" button, which exists in the form of a menu item in the drop-down menu at the bottom of the channel strip. Just disable it. Sometimes I mute it, too, just out of habit, but I'm pretty...

I've always created VRack tracks in the TO first just so I could choose colors.

This is not the hugest concern but if i didn't append "copy" then the output on the MIDI track would automatically work. As of now, I have to changed the MIDI output to the new name of "copy." Hey, this is quicker for sure. But just wondering if you know what's up with the appen...

Can You Change the Default MIDI Output?
Well, someone mentioned you can change the default Audio Output by moving that bundle to the top of the list in audio bundles. SO, is there a way to change the default MIDI output to a VI that is always loaded from the moment a template is opened?

Re-reading your post, I think you'd benefit from learning how to use V-Racks. Once you set up your instruments in V-racks, all you have to do is add a MIDI track any time you want another track of that instrument. There have been many threads on that here, as well as in the Tips Sheet. Trust me, on...

VI's and pre assigned MIDI tracks can stored in clippings windows, and from there can be dragged to a plug-in slot and the Tracks window respectively. and of course tis works well, but i have one question... when i drag the clipping back onto the tracks window it adds the tracks and APPENDS the wor...

i think sidechain for au is broken. not sure if it's just in dp, or au in general. i don't think i know of one au plug that has working sidechain...i know mh channelstrip doesn't. i used it frequently on the ppc mas version, but it has not been ported to intel mas yet. kell that's what I thought......
