Re: Mac Mini 2.6 i7 Quad = Mac Pro 3.33 Xeon Hex
Hi, after reading this post, I did something alike, only I simply took the last documentary I did post on and added pluggins in a sort of failure test as well. MacPro 3.1 octo 2.8 - 16 GB - SSD drive for OS & HDD for Audio & Video MacMini 6.1 dual i5 2.5 - 16GB - SSD for OS & SSD for Aud...

Re: Frame by frame scrolling
It might have to do with the video format.

Re: Bite Gain VS Bite Volume...
For me the main operational difference is that while you "set" bite gain you "add or reduce" bite volume.
When I have already altered bite gains in a passage is when I will resort to bite volume simply to avoid having to check individually each soundbite.

Re: Here's why I think DP ought to correct for "natural scro
I tried natural scrolling for a couple of days. I think I didn´t scroll in the right direction on my first attempt even a single time. Not natural for me.

Re: 2 mono BWAV to interleaved stereo, how ?
I use Sound Device´s Wave Agent a lot since I own a SD recorder. I also use Audiofinder. Still it would be nice to be able to do it in DP. That and a lot of other related stuff. The issue IMMO is that a multitrack file is not always multichannel interleaved. Please let me elaborate. When importing a...

Re: What would you like to see in a controller for DP?
I'd like to see changes to DP itself in how it responds to MC/HUI emulation controllers. Currently, changing fader banks on the controller changes track selection in the DP Mixer window so only the tracks active in the controller are displayed in the window. I'd like to be able to set the Mixer win...

Re: UNDO HISTORY : Will flushing reclaim speed?
In my experience anything that makes the DP project file smaller in size helps. At least during my G5 days it was common procedure for me to do the save as and flush history. I´d say that the main difference is related to undo branches containing soundbites that are not needed anymore.

Re: Soundbite GUI weirdness!!!
I´ve had this happened more than once too. In different versions. I usually save as copying media to a new folder, then it rebuilds waveforms and the problem doesn´t repeat.

Re: 896hd output question
Are you using 96KHz? It should only work with 4 channels through ADAT if so.

Or drag it to the chunks window in an existing project and it will create a new sequence.

Re: Audio Performance Grayed Out
You probably have it docked in the control bar inside the consolidated window, but it wont show at the very right of the screen because it has no space in the monitor, check the prefs.

Re: Clicks and pops on fades.. PLZ make them stop!!!
I asked about crossfades because those are the only ones I´ve suffered, and yes, they were due to zero crossings ( or lack of them). More than an interface issue I would think at first of a disk read problem, but if you´ve had it with multiple computers, it seems to be in the software somehow. Is th...
