Re: DP for blind users?

It does not work well with voiceover. Of all the DAWs, it's probably one of the more difficult ones to use if you are visually impaired.

I have difficulty reading what is in the image. That is not abnormal either, and why there's web accessibility standards.

Re: Wow! New Forum Layout Looks Gorgeous!!

I understand that some people like it, but can we please get an alternate layout installed?

It's very difficult for me to read white text on grey (often light grey) backgrounds. This theme doesn't pass WCAG or UGL either.

Re: DP 10.1 sounds better.

They only real change that can be made to a DAW that affects the way we hear a mix would be pan laws. They aren't adjustable by the end user in DP and most other DAWs. They used to be in Logic I don't know if they are anymore? There's also the visual and perceptive affect of the new , not saying th...

Re: Has DP, THE MIDI king, been slayed? Saw its head rolling

Much appreciated. I'm not looking to change my DAW but it would be ignorant to not know what's out there. I'm trying to cure that ignorance. Lol Yes. I've learned to use DP's capabilities better myself after seeing how other products work. You start to wonder if DP can do something when you see how...

Re: Has DP, THE MIDI king, been slayed? Saw its head rolling

BTW, which of the other apps (living or living dead) do multiple sequences in a single project? Do any of them do that? Waveform, Studio One, Reаper. I think it's possible to say that 2 of them do it better than DP too. Thanks. I'll investigate for sure! Waveform it's called 'edit clips' Studio One...

Re: Easy way to see/edit all automation for an audio track?

I just tried on my macbook pro(OS X 10.10.2), which is about as bare as it can be, I only have DP 8.07 on on it and audio drivers.

I always have to press T/W before opening the menu and let go after selecting an item. If I press W after I open the menu, then it does not work.

Re: Easy way to see/edit all automation for an audio track?

Actually, if I hold W before I click the menu, once it pops up the highlight cursor goes nuts because it's trying to find a menu item that starts with W. I open the menu, go to Edit Layer, then hold W before I click "Volume," and it works fine. What's your OS? Do you have any keyboard/HID...

Re: Easy way to see/edit all automation for an audio track?

I don't know why sometimes it doesn't want to work, but it usually DOES work. W= temporary group for all visible T = temporary group for all selected tracks Shooshie This is a great tip, and I figured out why it doesn't work sometimes as I was messing with it. You have to press W or T before you cl...

Re: DP8 authorisation on multiple computers?

It was an issue because the authorization system was not allowing me to activate 2 computers as it says I should be able to.

I resolved the issue though and updated the thread with my success, in case someone else comes across the same problem.

Re: Which Convolution in 2015?

are you using 3rd party IR's or just whatever was included with it? I use 3rd party IRs and ones I've captured myself. I couldn't tell you exactly which 3rd party ones I use, since my file organization for them is poor. I do know that I frequently use http://www.samplicity.com/bricasti-m7-impulse-r...

Reverberate is amazing, and I use it over Altiverb probably 99% of the time. The developer is responsive as well.
