Re: New version can't find sounds

Oh wait, I just noticed you didn't include Plug-ins in your path to Sounds. The default with the old install is ...\Motu\Plug-ins\Sounds. So I haven't actually tried what you suggested, I'll give it a try and let you know.

Re: New version can't find sounds

Thanks for responding, but unfortunately that doesn't help me. I originally had my short cuts there and they worked fine, but now they don't with the new version. As I mentioned, I also tried placing the full libraries there still to no avail. Am I the only one who has this problem? Since the origin...

New version can't find sounds

I have the WinXP version that I've been using for a long time. I saw that there was a new update available. I uninstalled the old version then installed the new. It cannot find any sounds. I then tried uninstalling everything and just installing the new. It does not create the Plug-ins/Sounds direct...

Re: Adding ‘Brightness’ to Piano sound

I have been using the Rhodes/Epiano samples in M5 and noticed the same thing. I found that I need to turn on the filters and also play around with the pan modding to brighten and liven up the sound. You may want to give that a try.

Sample rate and buffer size greyed out

I'm using WinXP with the ASIO driver and the sample rate is set to 44.1 and the buffer size is 512 and these values are greyed out in the EK setup screen. My sound card is a TC Electronics Konnect 8 firewire and it is capable of much better performance. I've tried changing the values in the Konnect ...

Pan mod and velocity/dynamic range

First I would like to ask, under the "expert settings" does anyone know what the Pan Mod is supposed to really do? (this is when used with the Rhodes pianos) I can't imagine that you need all those settings such as envelope just to vary the panning. Does the Tremelo need to be set to pan f...

Well, I must say, I'm a bit surprised that more people aren't liking this package. I bought this package almost exclusively for the rhodes pianos and for me nearly everything else is kind of a free toss in. I can never have too many Rhodes sims. I mostly like the Rhodes to play in a solo style rathe...

I have my copy. I've been mostly playing with the Rhodes E-pianos. I have to say, (IMO) they are VERY good! Also, I think that the effects processor is very nice, I'm pretty impressed. The install is a littly wonky, make sure you read their tech notes. Overall, a very fun package, I've been enjoying...

Ok, I finally fixed the problem. I appologize to the folks at MOTU, as it turns out I did have a virus.

Apparently, this affected my install and uninstall. I had never seen this before but we all learn something new every day.

Anyone using this with WinXP? (Please help!!!)

I have been having a lot of difficulty getting this to work and I was wondering if anyone else is using it under WinXP. I am trying to just get it working stand alone for the moment. I read the tech note and I got it to come up and recognize the libraries using the shortcuts (aliases). However, it r...
