I don't use either. The entire software setup is running realtime along side a hardware setup, both merged in an outboard mixer. This way circumvents the perplexing audio issue.

I agree with Frodo...It is OSX... I can confirm my duplcate note ons/offs in versions 4&5 were after MIDI left DP. I monitored them on the same computer and 2 remote computers. I'm not able to judge yet with version 7.
