Re: Any users of Slate SSD4 & Superior Drummer in DP 8

I bought the AD2 deal James was referring to and I have to say what a very intuitive and great sounding drum VI it is. These guys did a really great job. (I own and use frequently SD2, EZ Drummer 2, Slate, NI) Really glad you also like it. Things are so subjective, that as much as I like something ...

Re: Any users of Slate SSD4 & Superior Drummer in DP 8

I was kind of waffling around on it, but yea $79 for a few kits, totally worth it. I probably should have grabbed it. I was initially a bit overwhelmed when I went to the site and saw so many different kits to choose from, I was like, yikes, which one is the one I would want? Didn't have time to di...

Re: Any users of Slate SSD4 & Superior Drummer in DP 8

did you get the same drumkits? You bet. I dialed up a preset and set it how I liked it and it sounded identical to the kit I already had done for a final mix that included all of my favorite drum processing. It got the job done much quicker in other words. That's worth gold any time. (And I'm picky...

Re: No waveform after Compact

Brother CBerg, I see the same thing when I compact my projects. If I look at the SE while compacting, at least half the waveforms won't appear until I either, close and reopen the SE window, or close and reopen the project, especially when I check the "Delete Analysis files" option. But s...

Re: No waveform after Compact

Hmmm..why did you compact the project? "Compact" is a feature left over from last decade and the days of way smaller hard drives. I don't think you need to do it anymore. DP, indeed I never do usually. This was a special case that is not worth the explanation. I agree it's not necessary a...

No waveform after Compact

Anyone else experience this? After Compacting a project, half (not all) of the waveforms are just horizontal lines. The audio is still there, but no waveforms.

Two novels in one day. Incredible.
I couldn't read it all in one day. Had to take a break between sentences to let my mind rest.

Re: How to create a DDP ?

HOFA has one: http://hofa-plugins.de/en/plugins/cd-burn-ddp/ Interesting. I have a hard time picturing doing what I do in DSP-Q within a plug-in environment. Is anyone here using this? I do not have this one, but I use the I-EQ on every project. The company really puts out great products. And this ...
