Re: Track playback too fast after stretching beats

Hi Markus,

I of course opened already a tech link. So far I got only one response saying that depending on how the soundbites are stretched, this behaviour might be normal.
Which is not very helpful at the moment. Will report back if I have some new information

Re: Track playback too fast after stretching beats

I encounter the same problem with DP 10.13. Also, the playback is not always out of sync the same amount. It's every time different. What is also weird: If I stretch on two tracks, only one of them goes out of sync. If I disable this track, the other one gets out of sync. Any help appreciated. Edit:...

Re: Importing sounds into Model-12

Also stumbled upon this problems several times but was always too lazy to systematically try and see what works and what doesn't. If I remember correctly, I had generally less problems importing aif's instead of waves.

Re: Another DAW as a "slave" to DP

Figured this out! I was kinda just fiddling through the settings and didn't know exactly what I had to do, but this worked. - In DP, I just went to [Setup > Interapplication MIDI] then added DP input and DP outputs in the I/O panel. - In Logic, I went to [Preferences > MIDI > Inputs] then ticked th...

Re: How to copy audio volume automation & paste as send volu

I stumbled across a problem with copying automation. Didn't work with the view filter and then just mark - copy - paste. So I tried the above described method and stumbled upon this error (see screenshot-link), which I do not understand, any help appreciated. http://www.limsound.com/work/whatnow.png

Re: Help needed for MultiTrack comping (DP 9.52)

Hi Shea

You don't need to create a group for each take. You just make a group out of the three tracks (Micpre-1, Micpre-2, Micpre-3). Then "show takes" and you can start multitrack comping.

Duplicate tracks in groups

Hey community Long time since my last post. I do have a question, maybe someone can help me. I often do multitrack overdub recordings for layering strings. So at first I do have all the recording on my multitracks, just in different takes. I do then do some kind of comping or take editing. After tha...

Re: Video about perfect pitch and how adults can't develop i

Sound and color are both (over simplifying alert - lol) vibrations. Perceived by different organs and different parts of the brain. I do love though the idea of taking the frequencies of color "down many octaves" until you can roughly assign colors to the musical scale. I don't know how s...

Re: Video about perfect pitch and how adults can't develop i

Actually color recognition and pitch recognition are not that different. The human brain is able to distinguish between 150 different subjective color tones/shades (wavelengths between 430 and 650 nm). But we're not able to look at only one color and tell the exact wavelength of this color. We need ...

Re: Pitch shifting effecting all versions of a soundbite

regarding this, I don't know if it's a bug or not. But if you enable "edge edit copy" and copy a soundbite and change the pitch, it still changes the pitch in the original soundbite. However, if you do it the way buzzsmith describes it, it works. I usually have edge edit copy enabled and j...

Re: Bluetooth mouse issues with Sierra 10.12.6?

I have also problems with my bluetooth mouse. Especially when I switch location. I do have the exact same mouse at home and in the studio, and my mac has always problems to pair them. My workaround: when the mouse doesn't get recognized, I click on the Wi-Fi-Symbol on top twice and: tadaa! My mouse ...

Re: Proverb presets?

What I'd like is some effect presets with a selected convolution IR in addition to useful settings of length, width, gain, predelay, damping, dynamic compression, etc. for different uses. I'd modify them from there as needed, but it would be nice to have more places to start from. Hey Rodney I get ...
