Re: Hardware effects and monitoring
This is a good idea. Believe me, I have suggested such a thing to the Powers That Be™ at MOTU for years. And no love, thus far. That and MIDI Objects are something I'd like to see also. Anyways, I sent my request to suggestion box, maybe it will change something someday ;) Yeah, working without MID...

Re: Hardware effects and monitoring
Thank you all for your help, I really appreciate it. So, I decided to not using my pedals as sends in DP, it will be better just connect it manually to my synths and record processed sound in DP. However, a lot of other DAWs provide absolutely reliable way to use hardware inserts. For example, in Cu...

Re: Hardware effects and monitoring
Unfortunately, I got no reply on this
Now I have three options:
1. Stop using any external effects and make my mixes fully ITB
2. Print Aux track with external effect and manually align it
3. Change the DAW
Problem is that I don't like at all any of three

Re: Hardware effects and monitoring
So, nobody uses external effects? I tried Expert Sleepers Latency fixer and it didn't help. I just want to know there is a problem with DP and I can find workaround for it or there is a problem with my soundcard and to comfortably using outboard effects as sends I need to buy MOTU soundcard (I reall...

Hardware effects and monitoring
Hello! Recently I bought some outboard effects - Eventide Space, Time Factor and Pitchfactor, as well as Strymon pedals (El Capistan and Deco). So, I started set up, for example, Time Factor (delay unit) to work in DP as send effect. I made all the necessary busses and IO's in Bundles window, so I h...

Re: Questions from Cubase user
So, guys, I almost finished my song in DP. 5x hardware synths (through MIDI and audio tracks, recorded simultaneously, some of them have multi outputs like Nord Lead 4 or Analog Rytm) 12x audio tracks (field recordings, drum "top loop" construction, my old samples, etc) 3x virtual instrume...

Re: Questions from Cubase user

I have two (actually three) options: 1. press Shift+M and it opens on top or bottom (splits display) - if I set in the options that it should be conso...

Questions from Cubase user
Hello, guys! I downloaded DP8 demo couple of days ago. I worked in Cubase and Logic before and you know, workflow is absolutely different. I watched Groove3 tutorials and still have some questions. 1. Is it possible to resize channels in the mixer (not “insert more inserts or sends” and not “narrow ...
