Re: DP8.0.5 Audio import error message (-34)
I was importing the audio files from a thumb USB drive and kept getting the error. So I dropped the files onto my desktop and imported from there and all worked well - suspect the USB drive to be the culprit. Thanks for the reply.

Re: Melodyne ARA
You might be referring to time stretching - the pitch correction works so well for me i pretty much never use Melodyne ever. I have Melodyne 2 btw.

Re: Melodyne ARA
I agree ARA integration with Melodyne would be a nice addition. Your right this has been around for some time. I'm not sure DP actually needs it. I almost never use Melodyne anymore because DP's pitch correction tool works so well. It has been requested however.

Re: current Mac Mini DP torture test; anyone done one?
I use a new Mac Mini 2.5GHz i5 16g ram and it works great. 64 bit DP operation is smooth with well over 20 audio tracks all with EQ's, compressors, etc...along with several VI's running. Highly recommended if your recording small sessions or a home studio owner. If your running a pro level studio I ...

Re: Track Names....What happened?
Hi, I'm not prepared to answer your question; I'm just trying to figure out the relationship between the two pictures. Are they related? Is "Dark Layering" related to one of the tracks in the other picture? Sorry, I just need more explanation. I don't see any clues to connect them. Shoosh...

Re: Track Names....What happened?
That's very strange - I just checked it in DP 8.04 and got this as expected http://ostinatomusic.com/screenshot.png it seems weird your's is showing the bundle, rather than the input selected on the track can't seem to find a preference.... SWT Correct - it is showing the bundle/input instead of th...

Track Names....What happened? - RESOLVED
I create a new audio track in DP8 and name the track (ex: Dark Layering) Now when I transfer my MIDI to audio the newly generated audio track no longer has the track name as in DP6. It will show the input from the bundle and not the name I typed. Can this be corrected by a setting? I haven't found i...
