Sure they did. This must be a great source for ideas etc.

DP 5 feels quite good in that respect. WTG whoever is MOTU!

Mind you I have not gone through the complete app yet but it feel like the best version yet. (I am usually grumpy!)

I had some odd error messages when I first installed DP5. After trashing the pref file it works great. Just a thought!

Im running Onyx and this is a great app speeding up things.

For disc maintenance / I copy things around so I can completely whipe a partition before starting to work with it.

Before going to DP 5 I tried to run DP 4.6 setting the studio size to the largest possible setting. BFD suddenly stopped spiking. This might be useful for others to try. I do not know if it works.

The bogus audio CD immage could not be ejected by itself so I thought that it was the one messing things up. Anyway we have a work around.

I just alt-dragged it to the hard drive.

I hope that it will work ok. I just looked at some instruments in MachFive and they sounded perfectly all right.

That is odd. I get one sample CD immage with a number and one CD immage called audio with a junk file on it. 10.4.6 on a dual G5 (running Swedish :wink: language... it is not a language thing it can open in English too.) I checked the iMac and it opens it in the same manner. Do we have differnt OS? ...

S-5000 can be copied if you first copy the sample CD, the one with the number to a HD and then use UVI. It can not be copied using UVI directly from the CD.

So far I have not had any problems.

Are any of the samples looped since i do not have any loops so far.

Skot fixed that in the later versions. You can download the newer builds from fxpansions homepage. It runs great with DP 5.

Try trashing the pref file. This helped when my copy of DP 5 was giving me odd problems.
