Just use your installation disc to install it on the system volume. Then download and install updates from motu.com.

Re: Motu MIDI Express XT discontinued? Clockworks for Intel
I think the MIDI Express XT has been out of production for a few years now. ClockWorks was never updated to be an Intel CPU-native or Universal Binary program, so it has always required Rosetta to work on Macs with Intel CPUs. I suppose that if MOTU wants ClockWorks to keep working in Mac OS X v10.7...

Re: My 896HD has no power?
The simplest explanation is that the 896HD needs a new fuse. It uses a 500 mA slow-blow fuse.

Re: Motu Ultralite mx3 with Mackie Control without Cuemix FX
No, CueMix FX must be open to receive MIDI data from the control surface, interpret it, and then apply the appropriate changes to the UltraLite mk3's on-board mixer.

It sounds like there might be a problem with the device's firmware. You should probably contact MOTU tech support.

MOTU 828 MkI's ADAT (Lightpipe/Optical) output only allows TWO channel audio, not 8. it appears as output 9/10 on your DAW. bummer. i should have read the clue in the labeling a...

Re: No MOTU Audio device detected (pci 424+interf. 24 I/O)
First, you should download and install the latest driver from motu.com. Then make sure you're opening MOTU PCI Audio Console (which controls the PCI-424 system), not MOTU Audio Console (which is used for MOTU FireWire and USB audio interfaces only).
