Re: New Drivers : 4.0.44925 : 07/02/11 : Any Views?
Does anyone know if the new driver in conjunction with Windows' WMD driver, that can recognize multiple interfaces unlike ASIO which only recognizes one, will work with interfaces from two or more manufacturers at the same time (for example MOTU Ultralite and MR816)? This is controlled by the host ...

That sounds like it could be a driver problem. Have you contacted MOTU?

Re: 2408mkII turn ADAT output into 2-channel SPDIF output?
The 2408mkII's optical ports support only ADAT digital audio. They can not be switched to TOSLINK, which is a S/PDIF stream on an optical connection. However, I think there are adapters available that will convert optical TOSLINK to coaxial S/PDIF. If you had one of those, then you could use the 240...

Re: 828mkIII master input mute?
It's not possible to mute the input in all mixes simultaneously with the front panel controls, but there is a way to do it somewhat quickly: In the CueMix menu, go to the Mix section and turn the Page knob until you reach the input channel that you want to mute. Turn the Parameter knob to reach the ...

Re: CueMix FX with Pro Tools
Yes, this will work exactly as you described. Just mute the tracks in Pro Tools so that they are not heard during recording.

Re: Euphonix MC Mix - Cuemix FX
You have to set the EuCon software to use Mackie Control or HUI mode for CueMix FX because it doesn't support the native EuCon control protocol.

Re: test/check traveler
Test another FireWire device with the same computer and FireWire cable. If it works, then the problem is probably that the Traveler's FireWire ports are broken. Are you sure that you didn't insert the plug into one of the ports upside-down?

Re: New Drivers : 4.0.44925 : 07/02/11 : Any Views?
The question was intended to ask if the new driver allows another interface's driver to be used. In other words, the question is whether the new MOTU driver allows a Steinberg/Yamaha MR816, whose drivers according to Steinberg do not conflict with MOTU drivers, to be used simultaneously with a MOTU...

Create an aggregate device in Audio MIDI Setup, and then set Pro Tools to use the aggregate device.
