Once Apple removes support for Rosetta, I guess it becomes moot. Though there seems to be so little penalty associated with running Rosetta, maybe they will keep it around a long time…?

Saw this over at VI-Control: NI support confirmed now there is a grace period. It does not depend on the registration date, but on the purchase date. If you're in the grace period, they need to get a copy of the receipt and then you get a 50% voucher for the update to K14. Not free anymore, sorry! ...

Does anyone remember whether or not NI have historically allowed a “grace period” for previous versions? I bought the K13 upgrade and had not registered it yet…went ahead and registered it yesterday after the announcement.

Studio One is a solid DAW. It doesn’t handle film scoring nearly as well as DP if that is your thing. Best bet: Download the trial, or join Sphere for one month for $15. Try it out. One more quick question please: The WD stuff works fine for you? When last I looked into them, it seems there was some issue about the timeliness of their updates for Mac NAS software.
