Re: BFD3 (Stereo) won't show up

Okay, so it suddenly just started showing up on my startup check... and failed. Ooof. This is the FXpansion version though. I'm TRYING to get the newer inMusic version, however when I go online to type the serial number, the codes don't line up. I haven't figured out how to use my FXpansion code to ...

Re: BFD3 (Stereo) won't show up

Mojave is 10.14. Catalina is 10.15, which changed a lot of •••• in audio. I purchased BFD under FXpansion. I could try upgrading to the new company's version though. I'm guessing it will still work. I'll give it a shot.

Re: BFD3 (Stereo) won't show up

It's a 64bit plugin. [32-out] refers to channel output.

BFD3 (Stereo) won't show up

I'm having to re-install plugins to a different computer. I've got most of them figured (with a few exceptions). But one that's dogging me is BFD3. I've gone through the install process multiple times, I've checked the Plugin Components folder, but the only thing that shows up in DP is "BFD [32...

Re: How to use 8pre without Cuemix

I am an idiot. I just realized that there is a new 64bit version of CueMix that works just fine with Catalina and road in on the MOTU Audio Drivers installer. Now I feel dumb!

Re: How to use 8pre without Cuemix

I think I wasn't very clear. I've already got the 8pre working alive and well in Catalina, just as you said. I installed the newer USB MOTU Audio Setup, and it works just fine, even shows the 8pre in the window. My question was about INPUT MONITORING, now that CueMix has been depreciated. However, I...

How to use 8pre without Cuemix

I'm migrating over to a newer computer with Catalina. This kills 32bit support for CueMix. I've got a perfectly working MOTU 8pre that I've been using in my setup for a while, and I followed the instructions to get the drivers working on Catalina. However... how the heck am I supposed to use it with...

Re: Simple Audio Waveform Player

Just as a test I tried DSP-Q to see if it fit our needs. My concern is it just feels too big and complex for a "quick and dirty" previewing player. I couldn't really find Marker commands, and TwistedWave has a fantastic Marker pane right there that does exactly what we need it to. I know D...

Re: Simple Audio Waveform Player

Twisted Wave is the answer! Actually, one of our contract employees had already mentioned Snapper before, and I tried it out yesterday. Snapper can ADD markers, but they can't be saved or exported (weird), I reached out to AudioEase and it doesn't seem to be a feature they plan on adding in the futu...

Simple Audio Waveform Player

Hey all, I'm looking for a very FAST (to open and use quickly), simple audio player with a waveform readout and sample-accurate timecode display. Another nice feature would be the ability to make markers with notes, and copy them to text (though this is isn't as important). My company needs to evalu...

Re: DP11 is here!

MPE requires a total overhaul of the MIDI system. That alone is HUUUUUGE. If you're not using DP for MIDI, that's on you, but for a lot of us, a MIDI overhaul is worth about 2 integer points. For a program that started off MIDI-only, I don't think DP has made any significant changes to the MIDI syst...

Adjust Bite Gain Add/Subtract

This is something that's plagued me from time to time. I like to use Bite Gain because it changes the waveform visually, and is less finicky than the Bite Volume if I need to change an entire clip. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a away to select a bunch of clips and adjust them relatively up/do...

Re: M4 not recognised by Mac after switching off and on

I was actually looking into video conferencing the other day which could use loopback. But I'm wondering if the M4 could use something like Rogue Ameoba "Loopback" or "Audio Hijack". I've been meaning to download a demo and test it out.

Re: M4 not recognised by Mac after switching off and on

I had similar problems with my 2019 15" MBP and the M4. Deleting the MOTU Driver fixed it. The M4 would show up in Audio/MIDI, but no sound would come out, even playing through external sources into the Mic inputs, Nothing would sound. ONCE IN A WHILE, it would work, but not very often (It's wo...

Re: Suggestions for a good auto-filter plugin

Ive had great results with ShaperBox 2 from Cable Guys. Its not "auto" but it comes with some preset curves and its easy enough to draw in your own curves and has lots of sync options. Volume, Filter, Pan ,Width, and Crusher...I think...anyway all of those are independent from each other....
