Ooooh, that's a realy cool idea. I never thought of that! Mixing uncompressed with compressed to taste... I've always tried to run compression just right out of the chain (or gate) and than later in the final drum mix. Interesting idea, I'll give it a shot. Now, one trick I'm going to have to tackle...

Hey! It worked. I went back in, in the standalone, and rebuilt the database ALONG WITH SAMPLES (no the default setting for a sample rebuild).
