I have been having the same issue for months.

There is speculation on this site about whether or not DP 8 for Windows 8.1 supports East West Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus. But I have not seen confirmation that it actually works. Anybody?

Bob, I tried removing the MAS waveshells so as to use the AU version only. The AU waveshells appear in the library/components folder, but not in DP. Suggestions most welcome.

Waves tech suppot says unconditionally that their products are not supported in DP 5.1. As to specific issues, both MOTU and Waves will say only that the system is "unstable" without mentioning what might actually go wrong. Waves recommends downgrading to DP 5.0.1, or using AU versions of ...
