Alternate technique (and I did test this): Select the Conductor Track from beginning to end and Copy To a Clipping Window (Edit menu). If there is other data such as tempo informartion that you don't want to store in the clipping, use the View Filter (Setup Menu) to hide that data first. Dave Aweso...

Re: Vienna Ensemble Pro + DP (these days)?

What dix said. Also, it's really neat to have all your VIs under a single powerful environment. It's a breeze to manage all your VE Pro templates and sessions via DP's Chunks window. It's really solid and robust too. Actually, my question would be the other way around... Why would someone who uses ...

Re: NAMM NEWS - DP 10 - It's Here!

One detail I find absolutely ridiculous DP doesn't implment: on an audio track, why do I have to initialize volume/pan automation? Why do I have to go to the mixer, see where a track is set, and then 'pencil' that value in? Why isn't initial value just linked to the fader? I hear you. When I need a...

Re: Import Session Data a must

Agreed, ccrane . Last time I tried it, the Load command has problems importing bundles and making them active in the new project. It ONLY works under a very narrow (and impractical) set of conditions... Yes, the Load feature unfortunately is broken in that regard. One suggested work around was to c...

frankf wrote:I use the Load command for this. How does Load fall flat for you? I’m not a Pro Tools user btw.
Load is great but does not allow for single track extractions, just the full Chunk.

Re: NAMM NEWS - DP 10 - It's Here!

All I'm asking is to have the freedom to move automated tracks around without having to fix unwanted ramps for every automation parameter for every track in the mix all over the place! It should behave just like Bite/Gain automation... That bug/issue is the difference between spending 5 enjoyable m...

Re: The Robb Report Aug. '18

Some things that we should see when we right-click on a soundbite in the Sequence editor: All Bite Gain Functions Duplicate Soundbite 1) Edit Soundbite Layer - even though there are key commands for this, it seems like a logical inclusion. Btw, there is a right-clickable "Edit Layer" opti...

Re: Plugin Instrument Edit Windows Not Opening in DP9

Thanks bayswater, you were right. :D I solved this by: 1. Opening a new DP9 project. 2. Instantiating instrument tracks again from afresh. 3. Loading the old sequence from the seemingly corrupted file into the new DP9 project. 4. re-making every track name in the new Sequence. :| 5. Copying each an...

Re: How to show velocity at notes like this Video

While not exactly what you want, try these to see if you find them useful if you haven't used them (they are certainly useful to me): - If you option-drag a track to change its size, it will be as big as you set it, and the rest of the shown tracks will shrink as necessary to still be viewable on t...

Re: How to show velocity at notes like this Video

Ahhh..but is there a key command for SE track size? For instance, if editing within a track and you want the track larger or smaller, you could hit something akin to 'tilda' for smaller and '1' for larger (these are available on my system w/o conflict). Super quick without having to change your cur...

Re: MAKE IT STOP!!!!

I think it's related to leaving a data entry window before confirming the data, which is what i think happened here. A little late to the party...the ol' tempo window transport hijack. Took me a few weeks until I realized I had been inadvertently activating the Tempo Slider. Now, that's the first p...

Re: How to show velocity at notes like this Video

Is there a shortcut to max the view of the selected MIDI track in sequence view? Don't believe so and would be a great addition. You can lasso zoom to the MIDI track or grab bottom of track on the left to increase size. Sure there is! You will love it... Ahhh..but is there a key command for SE trac...
