Re: Suggestions in setting up AD/DA w/ MOTU
your looking for good AD/DA and you already have a big ben. If you don't want to put a second morgage on your house with high end Mytech,Genex or Apogee stuff , have a listen to the HD192 from MOTU..... I have one and since I bought the Big ben , it brings it to par with the Rosetta. And you already...

Re: Need Advice - MachFive or Konkakt?
I use Mach5 with my G5 and never had any problems. I imported a lot of AKAI and GIGA stuff , all went well . I used Kontakt a bit before buying Mach5 and I prefer the layout of Mach5 , it's more "Mac'ish" . Always hated the folder section of Kontakt , too "Windows"...... And of c...

Re: Unbelievable Crashing!!!!!!!!!
You need the "MAS AudioUnit Support.bundle" to see anything that is Audio Unit. If you want to see if it's a AudioUnit that is faulty , just remove that plug and trash the you/library/preference/DigitalPerformer/AudioUnitInfoCache.
Then reinsert it.

Re: Unbelievable Crashing!!!!!!!!!
To Dubaifox : I would definitly try to remove all the plugs in the MAS folder and in the Component folder , just to see if it's a plugin's fault ( as Dan sugested ). I would bet on that!

Re: Hated DP4 till i did this....
I have a dual 2ghz G5 with x.3.8 wich runs perfectly with 4.52.
I also have a powerbook , 1.5ghz ( G4) wich I use daily , in a live situation to run Altiverb/DP and SFooX simultaniously.
Never had a crash with the G4. Over a year now. My system must be f&$%? up.....

Re: JBL LSR6328's
No I didn't had that chance, that was before the 6328 came in, the 28p were discontinued... Someone told me that "mechanicaly "they're the same (speakers) but electronicaly they differ....... They made a change to the casing , the 28P was made out of carbon ,not anymore, reason being it's ...

Re: JBL LSR6328's
When I was looking to buy monitors , I checked Genelecs, ADAMs & JBLs. The pair I listened to was the S2.5a wich were REALLY amazing but I didn't had the budget. I hate the Genelecs, those highs.....I prefered the JBL , less "high fatigue" ( excuse my accent! ) I had the chance to put ...

Re: JBL LSR6328's
I have a pair of LSR28P , basicaly the same as the newer 6328 but without the RMC mode. I really love them. I really dig the ADAM's too , but the price tag kept me from buying them . Maybe in a couple of years, now that Samson has a pair of ribbon speakers for under a grand out, that is gonna push t...

Re: Mach Five 2?, Paid for?
If you look at MOTU's site they say that it's gonna be free for those who bought ver1.0 AFTER the 20th January. Assuming that for the rest of us, there's gonna be an upgrade fee.
Let's hope it's not more than $100.......
