In an orchestration with piano, for me it is more easy to record the piano in DP than in Finale. So yes in that case it would be good that DP is the slave.
But I discover this way of working and I am curious to hear from you.

Actually I don't use Volume 7 but Modulation 1 because it changes the volume AND the timbre.

When I saw that QuickScribe had dynamics symbols, I thought that it was like Finale which is a great feature for me.
