In DP itself, you can set the input and output in the mixer. Analog 1 in to analog 1 out and so on. I've done this before and then run the outputs to FOH like you were talking about. CueMix should have 8 different Bus Mixes for your Ultralite. Just select Mix 2 and set the outputs to, say, 3 & 4 and turn up the channels accordingly. You should have sound to those outs.

Yeah, I was going to connect the 8Pre with the ADAT optical. If I go the FireWire route, doesn't that give each individual unit it's own CueMix console? I'd like to have them all together.
