Re: Any better plugin/waves compatibly w/DP11 on w10?
ah, wow, thanks for demoing and letting us know. again, what a shame. thankfully I’ve got Ableton still, and Reason, so it’s fine that DP is essentially broken on PC, for me. if they’re not even going to try to address such fundamental problems, they shouldn’t even be selling it for PC—or at least n...

Re: Any better plugin/waves compatibly w/DP11 on w10?
it sounds like you were able to get that sorted...what did the trick, if it's not too much trouble? I have the same issue and gave up and went back to other DAWs. their lack of response to support tickets is a real shame. even if the new version fixes the problem, I'm leery about giving them more m...

Re: DP 10.1 corrupting files on file save?
is this issue always accompanied by a file error? I was working on a project until all of a sudden it will no longer let me play back. I can open the file, and move around in it, but as soon as I hit play, DP hangs. I don't get any kind of warning or error message...it just waits for me to force clo...

Re: iZotope display issues
sorry to have to revive an old thread as my first post in years...I'm back using DP, and loving lots of the new features, but this issue is making me wonder whether I've wasted money to rejoin the club. has anyone found a better way to deal with this? I'm encountering the same issue across most of m...

Re: editing click tracks
thank you both a ton for helping me figure this out! I was able to edit it via the Event List (for some reason, it didn't show in the conductor track under the Sequence window - maybe that was added after DP 6?). I still don't understand how they came up with this way of laying out the click edit op...

Re: editing click tracks
good question! I'll have to check when I get home from work. I'm not even sure I know where to find that. guess I'll have to RTFM again.

Re: editing click tracks
Two questions: 1. What version of DP6? 2. With Beat Clicks, have you also set your tempo range? Beat Clicks can be set to kick in only at certain tempi. 13/4---- yooda man! it's version 6.02, and I set the tempo range from 20-400 BPM, so I don't get why it doesn't seem to be taking effect. hehe, yu...

editing click tracks
okay, so I've got this song I'm working on. I've assigned a meter of 13/4, and it's at around 160 BPM. I've recorded some of the guitar I want just as a placeholder, and got my MIDI kick drum banging in time, and now I want to try messing around with some 3/4 or 4/4 polyrhythms to go over the top of...

Re: DP: Tuning Vocals Using DP's Pitch Automation
been using the DP pitch automation since I started using it, and I love the results, since it's so good at allowing you to keep a natural sound while tweaking to your heart's content. I haven't used any pitch correction plugins, so I have no idea how they sound, comparatively. I imagine they're prob...

Re: Volume level in my mix
I was using the MW Limiter the other day to try and bring up the level of one of my mixes, and despite the fact that I had set everything exactly according to what the manual suggests for moderate limiting on an overall mix, it was still peaking out. I had to pull back the master fader to something ...

Re: DP 6 and KORG padKontrol
I don't know what the padKontrol is like, but I have a nanopad, and for that you have to use the software that comes with it to assign the note values for each pad. I would check your padKontrol documentation and refer to anything that shows you how to assign note values. once you have that set up (...

Re: Regarding the LA2A Leveler
I've been watching all the LA2 talk with a little amusement. As an old analog dinosaur I can reveal the secret to all of how to get a track to sit in the mix when using an opto compressor. Step 1---- Listen Step 2---- Mix in real time Step 3---- Ride the fader at the points you don't like. Seriousl...
