Curious about M5 handling various libs

Hi,

I have a bunch of Scarbee libs, some have pretty cool scripts like Red Bass. Others not like Vintage Keys.

I'm wondering if anyone uses these in M5 and if the scripts translate?

thanks guys

Save/Load does not work

Has anyone had this problem,

I own 3 different DAW hosts and Ethno does not recognize a saved multi in any of them.

Save a multi,

try loading a multi,. doesn't work, Ethno doesn't recognize the saved multi.

anyone?

Re: DAW decision - a few unresolved questions for DP

hi, although using logic 7 and 8 successfully esp. for mixing i went for the DP6 upgrade and once again found DP not fulfilling my needs. i do not want to get into the pros and cons for me here but took the decision to sell my full DP package incl. at this point in time. i understand i have to sell...

Re: Best VI performance with MacBook Pro??

Hi there, I just replaced my G4 PB with a MBP 2.4, it still only has 2GB ram but. I have to say, it is amazing how well it works. I'm using everything stock, no cards etc,. and internal drive. I mainly use it as a writing sketch pad, to get out of my studio once in a while....currently I have RMX, S...

Re: quad core 2.66 a good choice?

Ok, I'm thinking about finally replacing my 2003 vintage G5 and getting an Intel Mac. Needs to be a tower, as I want to use UAD cards. Primary use will be running DP. I've been seeing a lot of fairly reasonable-looking prices for the 4-core 2.66 (2 dual core CPUs) Power Macs online. Is this a good ...

Re: DP 6.01 URS Strip Pro still broken....

This is a bummer. It seems that any plugin with sidechain function is out of order in DP 6. When I contacted URS, the owner sent a reply saying that MOTU is aware of this, and he assumed it was the sidechain function that broke the plug, I agree since Sonalksis comp is also broken and the URS strip ...

Re: Virtual instruments included in bounce (DP6)

I think it depends on the Plugin also,

i.e I was having no luck rendering a track with the MiniMonsta in it, but once I checked the "always run in realtime" it worked fine.

maybe give it a try

The manual says the impulses are handled similarly to Model 12,..

I admit to never using Model 12, but can't imagine a sampler not categorizing the samples?

I'm sure they'll fix this thing up.

Not asking for too much,. no. It would be great if you just pointed the plugin to your main impulse folder and were able to access them, as in Altiverb. Perhaps thats asking too much,..but. To not be able to categorize them once imported seems pretty cumbersome. Altiverb and SD have me spoiled I sup...

Hey MM, I spoke with MOTU, apparently the only way to have impulses show up within Proverb is to drag each impulse on the plugin, and then save as User prest. Unfortunately, there can be no folders within that eg,. I have UAD 140, Space Echo, Lexicon, halls, Plates, etc,.. They all show up in one hu...

Hey Guys,

Hope this doesn't seem OT

has anyone found a way to add a bunch of responses to a user folder and get them to show up in the ProVerb?

The only luck I've had is dragging the Impulses on top of Proverb and dropping, then using the "add to user"

thanks

I stand corrected,...

I guess my first quick attempts at this, I didn't let the plugins "settle down"
a second or two, I popped them in during playback.

I just tried a few tracks,. parallel sub of drums, a duplicated snare.
PSP VW, and Ren Comp.
And they are working right.

Cool !!!!
