Take Menu: “Turn Takes into Tracks”
Drag then to a clipping window
Import them into the new project
Select this tracks
Take menu :”Absorb Selected Tracks"

Position your cursor or make a selection with the cross tool and try the " Set Memory And Play Selection" which I think is Control - Space.

BTW, the short cut for the trim tool is "/"

After I insert a plugin in the post fader insert slot, there appears a distinct sound degradation. Please advise. Confirmed. This may also explain why so many previous projects of mine are glitchy. I've never run plug-in inserts post-fader. Can you explain why you would want to do this? Meters?

Yes, same here.

Crackles when a plug is inserted post fader.
Same plug works fine pre fader.
