Yes I did that.

Managed to find the problem: need to right click on the 828 icon in Audio MIDI Setup and choose the outputs! Don't know how it got changed and damndably hidden.

Thanks very much for trying to help me out. Finally it was the mixes tab that was indeed the problem: the bus 1 reverb send was on, which is the universal send, and hence the problem. Your comments forced me to look carefully at the mixes tab and I completely missed this.

Hi all,

No matter what I try I cannot get a channel in cuemix to be completely dry. I go to the channel tab and set Reverb send to zero, but I can still hear reverb in that channel.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Recording vocals on a mono track, the reverb is only coming through one side of the headphones. How do I get the reverb in stereo?

By the way, the 828mk2 was so nice and easy to use. The mk3 this is very hard to figure out, as the number of questions on here testifies.

For the main audio out, if I set: Cuemix bus 1 to Main Outs 1-2 MOTU audio setup Default Stereo Outputs to Main Out 1-2/Main Out Assign Main Out 1-2 So everything is set to the main out. An addition question that the manual does not seem to explain: if we use ADAT (same as Toslink?) to connect a 828mkii to the to the 828mkiii, will the converters from the mkiii be used?
