Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

Okay... FWIW I just found the "Legato" Mode button on Modulo and it still seemed to playback okay for me in DP 11.31. Not sure what accounts for that. Also I tried Legato mode in BassLine as well. No issues for me. Are you having this happen on your M1 or your Intel Mac? Using the default...

Probably won't affect it, but MOTU did release a new MOTU Pro Audio Installer recently. Depending on your interface, it may or may not be applicable.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

Just tried this with MOTU Bassline and Modulo. Those worked fine. So definitely seems like something affecting third party VIs that are in a non-native format (anything other than MAS) that requires the support bundles that act as a translator between MAS and other formats. massupport.png An intere...

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

Oh and for me the buggy behavior was certain notes just didn't play at all when I had True Pianos loaded.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

I'll tell you what's really weird: Indeed just now it happened for me with 4Front True Pianos, but for giggles I loaded an instance of MOTU PolySynth (on the theory it might make it easier for MOTO to reproduce with one of their own VIs) and it played back perfectly. What's interesting is PolySynth ...

I changed your link to have an https:// in front of it. Seemed my browser (Brave) wasn't letting my directly download it. Works for me now. Going to give this a try.

what can be done here?
FYI, after you attach a graphic, try to use the "place inline" button so it's more neatly embedded in the post if you can.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

Maybe someone could upload the test project demonstrating where that happens? And if we don't have the piano VI we can substitute one? I'd like to try this. Especially to see how it works fine at *specific* tempos. That's pretty interesting!

Re: Using DP to record live performances and/or Autotune live vocals

I have Antares Duo and also Choir and Auto-Tune Central shows them as "installed" and then the next button over says "Activate" yet I'm pretty sure they ARE indeed activated even though not reflected there. Pretty sure I used them before on Sonoma, but they were originally instal...
