I just had a realization...

I'm still not used to the fact that one can show or hide tracks in the Tracks window.
So, as I suspected, I had 3 Master tracks.

Got rid of 2 and now all is fine with the world.

Don't know how this happened, but I created a Master Fader and nothing is being routed to it.
Looks just like all the other master faders in other tracks.

Any ideas?

Waves V13 plugins don't have a demo mode. Sure wish the tech support I chatted with knew that.
Anyway, they were nice enough to activate the plugin for 7 days so I can test it in my system.

I'm familiar with the problem with different versions of Waves.
So far I've been able to run everything from V9 to some 14. It works most of the time.

But this is the first time I wasn't even able to get DP to load it.
Even after 15 minutes with the live chat.

I've got lots of old and new Waves plugins. This time I downloaded the SoundShifter as a demo to see if it'll work in my old computer. Mojave 10.14.6. The plugin is 8 years old so I thought it'd be no problem. So I downloaded the V13 version but DP (9.5) won't load it. Doesn't even see it. Was on wi...

I'd be afraid to try it.
I've got so many plugins and use the Mac Pro for video as well.
Maybe one day I'll feel adventurous.

Unfortunately, I'm on Mojave. Can't update any longer since I'm on a 2010 Mac Pro.
Still trying to free up some time to call again. For now I'm just using a PreSonus audio/MIDI interface. Only has one MIDI in, but it'll work in a pinch.

I think I tried that a while ago. Not sure.

I'll give it another go. If I can't get it started I'll try again to do a phone support next week.

I was thinking about this post just yesterday.

I haven't called them yet because I got involved in a big project that was more video than audio.
I do have them on my list and will try to get to them next week if they're not taking a holiday break.

I haven't forgotten.

OK. Figured it out. I opened Waves Central and followed the direction on Waves' site to activate licenses. Apparently, this plugin deactivated itself with no help from me. So it looks like problem solved. Except for the mystery as to why it deactivated after months of use. Anyway, life is good again...

Just restarted the computer and got this message (which I think was the first one I got yesterday.)

Do you mean just restarting the program? Or restarting the computer?

I restarted the pgm several times. Works fine on other files.
Everything's on my main drive.

The weird thing is I've been using this and all my files all the time without this happening.

Don't think it would be that. I used that file yesterday with no problem. Haven't updated anything for a long time.
