Re: Roland V Drum TD 12 MIDI delay
Don't feel too bad, I have a Roland MC909 and use DP as the master. I was getting heavy MIDI delay. What really sucked is that it would make this terrible jerking noise to catch up when it looped. I tried everything I could to get it to sync right even tired Ableton Live. •••• just don't wanna play....

Re: I really like DP 6.02 but...
I think the exact opposite. I like the look of them. Maybe PT has a "clean" look but I think it looks like a toy to me. worse the garage band. I do like the darkmod but I like the blue faders just fine. Of course I won't be changing the colors at all until I can chalk up $400 for this upgr...

HUGE favor! Lost file!
Well, I haven't been around much these days. Busy doin' my thing here and there. Maybe some of you guys remember around the beginning of last year I lost all of my project files from my external HD. I moved on mostly. A lot of hardwork on that HD but most of the songs I could easily create again. Ex...

Re: DP6 control surface by Euphonix!!!!!!
I had the mackie control and really loved it. I've just downsized my studio massivley. bassically I never got into the real meat of the machine. i just it to mute, solo, ride the faders. This Eucon thing look cools, I guess the drivers are one of the reasons why we haven't seen a DP6.02(the reason I...

Re: editing drums
there is a way to do this but it's a little clumsy and requires some adjusting. there is a function called strip silence. basically you select your bass drum or snare drum track. hit strip silence, adjust to preference. then select all the hits in the track and adjust the way you want. The problem I...

Re: What's the best control surface/automated faders for DP?
I had a mackie control for the longest time. It did everything I wanted it to and I can't remember it having any problems. the only reason I don't use it now is i moved around the world and i mostly work out of my laptop

Re: DP6 so expensive in Japan!!!!
chotto.... it's still the principle. I love this place but for no damn reason electronics and software are priced at stupid markups. For the upgrade I'm paying half the price of purchasing a new license in the US. like those cool little Maudio axiom keyboard controllers. the ones with the pads and t...

... I love amen breaks so I often cut up loops. but 99% of my loops are made by me. I do use Live but only for cutting the amen break. I've heard of these a few times now. What exactly is an amen break if you don't mind my asking, Aizo? ...well it's a famous drum loop from a 60's soul album from a ...

I write mostly experimentalish thrash industrial but I don't use the 4 on the floor as much. I love amen breaks so I often cut up loops. but 99% of my loops are made by me. I do use Live but only for cutting the amen break. I tried to use Live for VI's but it's so off the wall and I'm so used to DP'...
