Re: Change pitch drastically in DP7.24
I guess what I am looking for is the Spectral Effects, which I found. I wish there were some more options in this tool, but its pretty slick for treating a whole track to a different pitch altogether. I think I knew this too, as I remember somewhere in the distance using this before. Anyways if ther...

Change pitch drastically in DP7.24
Hey fellas I am wondering. I recorded some bricks being smacked and scraping for a sound design project, and I would like to make a copy of the track and drop it like 2 octaves and make it into a monsterous creeping crunching sound. I have a good bit of plugins, including AutoTune (latest vers), but...

Any way to install DP8 on mac *and* PC?
Just got my copy, and Im wondering since most of us will upgrade our Macs, but I bet everyone who has a PC in the studio also would like to check it out on PC, is there a way we are allowed to install it twice?

Re: The following required fonts are missing
Hey Christopher: It is impossible to argue with vast, infallible, encyclopedic intellect, however the "block" function in the user control panel is almost as good. Thanks for the sentiment! I hate to do that tho, as he could just be having a really bad week and its bubbling up into his ou...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
What I was trying to get at with asking specifically where DP calls fonts from, was to delete all the verdana fonts off the system totally, and then just install it in the one location that DP wants it

Re: The following required fonts are missing
OK so I did the Microsoft Office update, still getting DP error. I then manually copied them to the only directory listed that did not have Verdana installed (the Mac HD: System: Library: Fonts was the only place without it). Still DP error. Then you can see the clusterfook that is in Font Book as a...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
The first reply from Andy said where fonts are, and it makes sense the DP looks for them where they are, rather than where they aren't. I had the same problem, missing fonts, including Verdana and a couple of others. It went away when I updated Office on one Mac and removed it on another. I don't k...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
>Wow, pretty snippy response. I mentioned what Im nit into to try and find a solution not involving reinstalling DP. Sheesh.< So what? You caused the problem by not knowing what you were doing. I proposed the simplest solution and still the one most likely to work. You haven't tried it. So, really,...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
Veranda and Garamond often cause problems because Adobe apps often install different versions. Normally, there is no conflict but multiple install/uninstalls can create duplicates - as mentioned before, duplicate fonts can cause big problems in SL and Lion. Open FontBook.app in the Applications Fol...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
You can assign a font in DP Prefs for Lyrics and Chord symbols. If you changed either of those, the OS is probably looking for them where they were located when selected. Oh ok, i didnt see them when i dug through the dp prefs yesterday. Could it be from one of the original 7.24 dp themes? It never...

Re: The following required fonts are missing
Verdana is a Microsoft font installed with Office and would be located in /Library/Fonts/Microsoft . Maybe you changed one of the DP prefs to use this font and then removed them or it's a permissions issue with the Microsoft font folder. See if Verdana is in the correct folder or try deleting DP pr...
