I use command 1 dozens of times a day. (all notes off) 99% of the time that clears the sticking notes. I do not have the skipping and jumping notes like you do- just sticking and random notes.

if you are not using MIDI tracks then it is much less needed. But if you are using MIDI/virtual instrument tracks it is the easiest (only?) way to make sure all your tracks start in exactly the same place throughout a score.

Yeah, I didn't think that was gonna be it.

My work around right now is to change one of the selection fields and then change it right back again to what I really wanted. This, for me anyway, always fixes the problem and gets the edit menu to show all the options. Weird! And VERY random.
