The only limitation has been financial, and it's a temporary one. So, I'm not 'stuck' so much as 'stalled at' 6.03.

I wonder, has anyone ever tried sending a project file to MOTU? I wonder if they know any secret voodoo that might allow for the project to be opened again?

I'm kind of hoping it's not DP8, as I'm still one of those who are on DP6. After hearing all the raves about DP7 stability, I'm still hoping to grab that ( while getting the DP8 free upgrade :wink: ) so I can run them side-by-side and compare. I don't suppose there will be any way to get the DP7 upg...

The fact that even Reason, a sequencer-only app that only became a "DAW" in the latest version, is trouncing DP is quite sad.

Here's one of me. I've been doing a lot of production dialogue recording the past few yeears (in addition to the usual music/post sound) as a boom op. This is after the mixer and I had rigged an elevator for a tricky moving elevator steadicam shot.

For me the bottom line is storytelling. That makes a great composer (or dancer, actor, painter, or sculptor - sorry to those artists I've left out).
