Re: Wondering 'bout 32 Lives with DP10 and Mojave (10.14)...
Hi guys, I'm trying to run a powercore x8 firewire with all 32bit plug-ins wrapped by 32Lives. Everything is properly installed and the powercore x8 connected and recognized. Plug-ins "ressurected" with 32 Lives. Now... DP10 doesn't seem to see the plug-ins in the folder... It doesn't even...

Re: Yosemite
Hi Guys, just chiming in, installing Yosemite as we speak…. Came recently from DP 7.24 on Mac Pro 1.1 5GB Ram, with Snow Leopard (Rocksolid btw!!), with SSL Madixtreme 64 + SSL Alpha-Link. Moved to DP 8.07 on Mac Pro 3.1 with 16Gb Ram, OSX Mavericks on SSD (64bit yyeeyy!!), keeping my Madi conversio...

Re: What 3 things about DP 8 annoy you the most?
Hi Guys! I wonder if the Zoom in still makes DP8 Lag... I use 7.24, but the slow zoom in and zoom out just bugs me every time I have a lot of tracks in my project. Does this have to do with my Graphic Card? With protools I just zoom in and out and there is no lag at all on the same system... I don't...

Re: Crack/Missing Audio
Hi guys... Problem solved (for now) simply by copying the project to another Hard-Drive, and opening the exact same project from there!! Still weird, but this seemed to really have solved the problem... no more playback performance spikes and consequent audio dropouts. The original Hard-Drive (where...

Re: Crack/Missing Audio
Hi Guys, I'm experiencing this with DP7.22, on a Mac Pro Quad (Woodcrest) 2.66 with 5 Gb RAM, MadiXtreme and SSL Alpha-Link. On a 48 Tracks of 24bit at 48KHz Project, (that yesterday was running fine!), all the sudden, today, after some editing I'm experiencing (only on some places in the songs) a r...

Re: 7.1, a different animal.
grr... 1st crash today... pressed rec button instead of solo, while playing "not so heavy" project. DP7.1 did an Unexpected Quit... Well there goes the stability. I must refer that I never had one single crash on 7.02, even with the CPU and Playback peaks on the Performance window!! Greeti...

Re: 7.1, a different animal.
Hello u All! Just chiming in to report a strange behaviour in the Background processing window: -In one project, it is repeating the background processing of 3 files over and over again... Anyway It doesn't seem to bother the playback, edit, tracking...etc of the project. Seems more like a graphic b...

Re: DP 6 GUI - What do you think of it?
I wish (for Cristmas) that DP7.03 improves the Metering GUI with the colors of the Protolls 8 Meters... Don't you just love Green, Yellow and Red...?
Not blue with a yellow peak.... grrrrrr
Cheers,
Toni

Re: NEW iPerformer's Aruma Mod for DP7!!
I just wish that the meters would look like those on Protolls 8...
I love DP and work with it since version 2.7... but It never had such an annoying GUI.
Anyways...Thanks for the Mod's!! It's been really helpful. Otherwise i couldn't work with it for more than 4 hours straight.
Cheers,
Toni

Re: Is DP 7 worth it?
Hi Guys, Do you think it would be safe now to upgrade from DP5.13 and OSX Tiger, to DP7 and Snow Leopard? I'm still getting crashes on 5.13 when I put all those crossfades on sliced drumtracks... it simply gets too heavy for my Quad 2.66 with 5GB Ram. How is DP7 handling UAD-2 plug-ins and the Eucon...

Hey Frodo ! I got my SSL Alpha-Link AX last month... Having serious trouble to use it as masterclock with a MOTU 2408MK3. I'm selling my other Motu interfaces to get me the MadiXtreme 64, but until then I'm just stuck to do my stuff through the 2408... Strangely, when Monitoring through the Alpha, I...

Re: DP 6 GUI - What do you think of it?
When slicing up a few drumtracks using beatdetection, if I drag the files and put crossfades on all the tracks at the same time, the back processing window opens and the processor take a lot of time to process those fades. If I save and quit the project, in that state before merging those fades, It ...
