Hi! With the BFD2 install, you could always choose a smaller install for pieces. Or, install it all, and then delete pieces you do not think you will ever use. Since I also own and use the Platinum Samples packs, once I built my main kit, I simply installed what I needed to my MacBook Pro and instal...

I guess this debate will always be around. When I work in Logic, I feel like I'm wearing chains. I can't move around, and I don't feel the freedom I have in DP. I'm always wrestling with those damned regions. Why won't Logic let you just turn them off? Shooshie Only Cubase this options. You can cho...

Sorry, but am with Michael Canavan. One huge problem I have had in adapting to DP (after years of region based apps, like PT, Logic, etc) is the MIDI side. With vertically sizable view in Tracks Window, this is one step. Let me have proper MIDI regions, and that is step two. The last step for me is ...

IMO, it is just sad. Large format consoles and stuff aside, one huge reason for the studio is the rooms. Good drum rooms are not typically found in a home or project studio. Sure, people will argue that something like a decent Tama kit and drummer, then Beat Detective it and replace with drumagog.. ...

It may be better than Gibson. Just not as heavy wood, more dried out or something. It's actually light too. When I was in a GC recently looking at amps, I picked up a new LP Standard to test one out with and was shocked at how light it was. I think that they chamber the bodies now to keep the weigh...

Hi! Unfortunately, I have no idea exactly which model the Epiphones would use. Here is the main page The various bridge and tailpiece options are there. I would send them an email, include Make, model, year..as much info as possible- and they should get back to you with the exact model that would wo...

My fav affordable LP bridge is the Tone Pros set.
An aluminum stop can be a nice addition as well.

V-Racks, and submix them :D But, I am overboard, and have 4 V-Racks as a starting point.. It is also one of several reasons I am putting time into understanding DP, and learning it. BTW- that was one of the very first things I learned: If Bundles is not set up with a proper Output set, many things w...

An IR is simply, and only, a snapshot. An actual space or an actual algo/non-llin is like a movie, comparatively; time variant. Interesting. I never really considered that algorithmic reverbs were more than a kind of snapshot themselves. Both can be have their parameters modified so that the decay ...

IMO, IR verbs are not "all that." They are good at what they do, but for true algo or non-lin verb, they do not beat the actual units they grab from. No way they can, if you think about it. An IR is simply, and only, a snapshot. An actual space or an actual algo/non-llin is like a movie, c...

LOL!!! I got distracted while reading the yahoo blurb, and read it as:

"The actor died Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills with his wife Lydia at his side, He declined to comment on the cause of death or provide further details."

Hey there, what are you doing here? 8) Trying to find a Brad-free zone, and somewhere Sweetwater did not have it's tentacles (or testicles) sweeping the area for victims :D ;) Actually, PT has been unfriendly enough with more than one CPU/core, and not the best for composing, and then Logic almost ...

Grrr... That is it Brad, final straw! Back to Conn with you! I already have Caruso's back up and running, and you will be chained to a desk there, where you will be forced to sell used PARIS rigs. PERIOD. The rest of their sales will be farmed out of country of course, but PARIS, Conn is yours for l...
