Re: Multitrack Drum Beat Detection
I actually don't go through the create kick and snare track, copy beats, etc... - I group and select the tracks, then Create Beats from Soundbites(Ctlr+B) and choose the kick track in the dropdown menu. I adjust the sensitivity to catch every hit and click apply. - Then I do the same for the snare ...

Re: Multitrack Drum Beat Detection
I think I may have found as to why copying beats, from one track to another will not work. I never really noticed this before, because of how I use beat detection, but hopefully this will help others. So we have our project open, and we want to copy beats. No edits, no nothing, Starting fresh. So we...

Re: Multitrack Drum Beat Detection
Kind of, Thanks, that helps a bit. I'm still having a problem in that i see beats in, let's say, the kick drum track. I select all the drums tracks in a section and do an Audio->Audio Beats->Copy Beats. I use the kick drum as the "from" source. I hit apply and nothing appears to happen (r...

Re: Multitrack Drum Beat Detection
I am experimenting with these features in DP 8. I can get them to work (kind of), but there are still cases where some of the drum tracks don't quantize in phase with the others and I get a flam, even though I did the "Copy Beats" to ensure all tracks had the same beat markers. I suspect ...

Dude, you could have got a new, shiny one for that much.bongo_x wrote:Kind Of Loud wrote:...Bought it for $1800.00 back then...
Sure, if the shiny one sounded good. But the Relic, sounded better.
And the Relic was new. Full warranty, and all that stuff when I bought it.

Re: Fender "Road Worn" guitars - STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!
Judging by some of the comments here, my '96 Relic Strat, is a real laugher. Bought it for $1800.00 back then, not for the looks, but because it was one of the best sounding, newer guitars, at the time. Thin nitro on the body, and none of that sticky lacquer on the neck. And without plugging into an ...

Not at all KOL. I appreciate your input man. Say, doesn't the X3 series allow the sort of chaining and swapping that you mention? I get the impression it's got something up its sleeve that the xt didn't in this area. Not to my knowledge, Nick. The X3 series is like having two XT's, that you can pan....

I wonder if it would be possible to bypass the amps and cabs and just use the effects? I've had it in my mind to buy a few different things that might all be covered by this. If you want just the effects, without amp/cab simulations, they just released the M13. It has a routeable fx loop, that can ...

Like an idiot, I installed 7.5 two weeks ago. I'm running 10.3.9. This past week, my 'puter went belly up. Wouldn't boot, just dead in the water. I tried everything, to no avail. I figured the old gal, was a gonner. Then I found this thread. Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU..!!, to all here...!!!...

Strats are the minivans of guitars. Thanks for the laugh. 8) SixStringGeek wrote: Why do you need fuzz if you have a Marshall? They only get one tone - fuzzy.
