Re: Bounce to Disk (Super Wide) Finder Window Bug ?
I've been having a similar issue. When changing the format - e.g., the bit depth or the sample rate, the window shrinks, obscuring the OK button. I can press Enter on my keyboard and the bounce proceeds, but it's very annoying. I've written to MOTU about this and several other issues, but I haven't...

Re: Background color options for black and white text?
I haven’t found a solution yet. But I just saw cccppprrr’s post on this topic, so maybe a non-techie like myself will consider taking a look under the hood (if I can find the hood!).labman wrote:Hey there Richard! I just found myself in exact same boat. What did you figure out?

Duh -- It's been a long day.My own comment related to DP 9.52 with Mac OS 'Mojave' 10.14.1 - though no doubt there are gremlins with DP 10 too....!

Re: Instant crash, 9.52, 10.14.1
I just started having this issue, but at the moment, only on a particular project. Other projects open without a problem. I checked the font book and all the listed fonts were already enabled. I'll try some of the other solutions mentioned earlier although they didn't seem to help much when other pe...

Re: How to make clippings
I was researching the same issue and saw this thread from 2015. I'm baffled by the same thing, this time in DP10. I created a custom Bundles configuration. I created a DP Clippings window and named it Bundles. I made the newly created Bundles configuration active and went to Edit/Copy to Clipping Wi...

Re: MIDI EVENT LIST EDITING not working
I’m glad you found an easy solution to this issue! I’m just curious if anyone has another issue with the MIDI event list. Only since DP10, my MIDI event list windows open horizontally instead of vertically, and narrowly enough where you can only see one row of info until you resize it. Totally usele...

Re: New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
Thanks Mike! From what I see, Apple offers the same price as B&H (and there's an Apple store 2 blocks from where I work). And yes, here in Oregon we don't pay state sales tax - lucky us. :) I am hopeful that I can do the RAM install myself. Keeping my fingers crossed. I wish I were as confident ...

Re: New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
While I appreciate the different viewpoints on where to save project files, can someone please address the question of why you’d get a refurb when you can get a NEW unit with the same specs (w. 3rd-party RAM) for the same price. I just want to confirm that I’m comparing apples to apples and that my ...

Re: New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
Forget wha you’ve read. Frequent read/writes over many years in a lab is bad for SSDs. You will not hit this in the next 100–200 years. Seriously. The Refurb Store has some 2018 Minis right now. You won’t do any better than this one and it’s less than $3K https://www.apple.com/us-hed/shop/product/G...

Re: New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
By the way, if I'm reading these links correctly, I can get a new Mac mini with the same specs as the refurb for about the same price. Mac mini, 3.2Ghz, 6-core, 2TB drive, 8Gb ram (to be replaced), 1Gigabit ethernet: $2,499.99 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1441912-REG/apple_z0w1_mrtr24_bh_m...

Re: New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
Wow, interesting discussion. Thank you all for your suggestions and insight. Some of it is over my head, and it looks like I missed the refurb Mike found. I guess they go fast. I'll keep my eye out. Yeah, I have to figure out the hub situation. I'd like to remove the two 1TB SSDs (used for samples l...

New Mac Mini - best drive for DP files?
I'm thinking about getting the new Mac mini with assorted peripherals and was wondering about the best place to save DP project files. The choices would seem to be the internal SSD, an external SSD, or an external traditional hard drive. I've heard that frequent saving, which of course is a normal p...
