Re: Sonalksis has released their new Mastering Suite

Man, it's great, been on it all day here now.

Price may feel steep, though I see it as "less money than waves" as there's really not a lot else that would be interesting in this area. What other multiband limiters would you recommend?

Re: Sonalksis has released their new Mastering Suite

I don't mean to gripe... because I know Sonalksis makes good stuff, but their pricing is definitely in that neighborhood where it really requires some deliberation. Their MaxLimit plug is $280? I know all things are relative... but do they read the newspapers over there? :) Though their 4 plugin bu...

DP6 "Gathering info.."

.. about plug-ins/VIs during startup of DP.

Is this just me or did DP5 do this during startup as well, at least both DP5 and 6 does it now and I've been working with logic for a cpl of months now and possibly I've been corrupted (or I am just getting old and forget fast) .. hehe...

It's easy to visually isolate the faders from the meters, I love the green to yellow to orange to red metering, and it's easy to follow each strip vertically. The fader position is more visually dominant than the track that it slides along. And you can customize the color of each strip individually...

I really feel for poor Beppi. Shop talk is hard enough as it is, but shop talk in another language has got to be nerve wracking. The term "comp" has to be one the most over-applied of them all. Besides "compositing" consider these: comp ressor free " comp limentary" fr...

KORE2 automation does not work, and NI blame Motu, it REALLY sux, I have had problems with other NI VIs as well, but since I now run all VIs in KORE2 the problem becomes utterly obvious. I had Kore 1 and it was a nightmare. I ended up giving it away. Not selling it, mind you. Giving it away. I didn...

I've yet to see anything that replaces the C4 and the Linear Phase Multi-Band (C-5). Also, I think the L1, L2, and L3 are unbeatable, but the L3 Multi-Maximizer is simply a new paradigm. Most people don't even know it exists, and of those who do, maybe 1 in 1000 know how it works or what makes it s...

Maybe not. They can probably sell PC clones no problem. Anyone can make one of those. If they took money for Mac clones then ... your right If they where a little bit more intelligent in their setup, they'd sell the computers as "multi os open computers", not mentioning osx or apple at al...

. This is just so STUPIDLY ridiculous: 1. The EFI Emulator (PC_EFI v8 by Netkas in this case) is installed on the target computer, after the hard drive is formatted either using the GPT or MBR partition Scheme. This emulates a very limited amount of functionality that would be found on a real Mac -...

ENIGMA is one I can think of. What's the replacement?
Have a look at audiodamage's dr.device, most probably it wont cover it all, but it's a good half way, and it cost like 50 bucks.
