I'm saving some money to update my system from Audio Desk 2.0 to Digital Performer 4.5. What is the difference between the two besides MIDI? Is it better to wait for the new version of DP? Is it worth the wait? Thanks!

Thanks for the input. You migth be right... I got the problem solved after reformating the hard drive (zeroing out the HD completely) and reinstalling the operational system.

The problem is that I can't get the original Audio Desk 2.0 that came with my MOTU 828 mkII installed at all. It stops in the middle of the installation process when installing DAE.
