Re: There's a new "B3" in town
Has anyone tried the Hammr+ B3 from Sound Dust in England? I stumbled across this on a deep dive into the Spitfire Audio website (under the "Extended Family" banner well down the products page) as part of the Dustbundle grouping. Went to the website and was quite impressed with what I hear...

Re: Digital Jitter Problem
In my experience, any time jitter has been named as an issue, it evidences itself as a somewhat "harder" sound (think early CDs as opposed to well done later examples)rather than full-on distortion. What led you to identify jitter as the cause of your problem? (Not saying you're not correc...

Re: Create Groove template from MIDI file?
One more bump. Anyone? This is still an issue. I'm highlighting the area of the MIDI track I'd like to use as a template (I've even tried copying it) and selected Create Groove Template. The dialog box asks me to create a name for the template but, after all this, when I try to use the template, the...

Re: Create Groove template from MIDI file?
Nope. It goes through the steps but saves nothing. I have the 4 bar MIDI phrase highlighted (and selected in the Tracks window via measure start/stop) but nothing is saved. The name I gave the groove is there in the Groove Quantize menu but nothing happens when I try to use it as a quantize template...

Create Groove template from MIDI file?
It's been so long since I've done this that I've forgotten the procedure. I want to use a Stylus MIDI file as a Groove template to quantize events. How do I do this in 7.24? (The MIDI file is used in my sequence.)
I feel like a moron...
Thanks

Many plasma screens are 720, not 1080. Worth a look.

Take a look at the PreSonus mixers. Impressive power for the price. And if you're brave, Behringer (I know, I know...) has a new one that looks like an considerable value.

Re: Subwoofer Suggestions
Whatever sub you end up with, the placement of it will be one of the most important factors in it's giving you what you seek. It RARELY goes where you think it will. If it isn't in the right spot, then the physical considerations of your room will make getting a realistic representation of the bass ...

Re: OBX/Reaktor from Sonic Projects
I must say that I prefer the sound of the standalone VST version of the OBX over the Reaktor version. Just a little closer to the original.

Re: WAVES 9 dropping iLOK authorization.
This seems odd, as Waves told me at Winter NAMM that iLok or their new computer authorization was a user choice with no costs involved. If you wanted to use iLok - no problem. Where did you come onto this information? As a Mercury owner, this may have an impact on me and on many others if confirmed ...

(And at those prices, they'd better!)
They're almost impossible to crash, too.
