Re: In Sequence, how to extend gridlines through a live instrument
Being able to see how the audio relates to the grid WHILE YOU DRAG IT, that is 100% the reason. It's not about a particular goal (like aligning specific things to beats, or quantizing sloppy playing); it's just about what you want to see/reference while you are moving audio, dragging an edge, shift...

Re: In Sequence, how to extend gridlines through a live instrument
Thanks for all the help!
I am still going to make a request for this feature. I think that it would truly be helpful when editing.

In Sequence, how to extend gridlines through a live instrument
I am working with live instruments. Just recorded a track and I would like to visually see the gridlines inside my sequence editor so I can see how far off the playing was. I think that I was able to do this before? I looked through the manual and there were only 2 mentions of gridlines, working ins...

Simple way to play .caf files (Apple Loops) inside DP11?
I have not used either GarageBand or Logic Pro or Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro for a very long time. I thought it would be nice to see if I could get them to play inside DP11. Is there a simple method to play .caf files (Apple Loops) inside DP11?

Re: Chord symbols crashing DP
Yes - I will try to get something into MOTU tomorrow - if we both do it, we have a better chance of MOTU jumping into this quickly.
Thanks for letting me know!

Chord symbols crashing DP
Hello, I am trying to work with chord symbols in DP 11.3 94678, This is something I've done a million times. First, it keeps crashing. I entered a chord symbol at measure 12 beat 2 , attaching it to a dotted half. Fine. Then I entered a second symbol at measure 13, beat 1. It placed the symbol at 12...

Does the Channel Select button inside the Event list do anything?
Does the Channel Select button inside the Event list do anything? Especially as it concerns recording multi channel play. I'm having a terrible time trying to playback/record stormdrum from Play. The MIDI mostly seems to not be working. It works fine on single channels.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: I cannot seem to find a way to get rid of the "Ch:1" info in my event list.
Someone from MOTU got back to me. This is a new feature inside of DP. Multiple MIDI channels can be captured in a single MIDI track, which was not possible in the past, so this has been added to the View filter. You have to de-selct MIDI channel there and then it is back to what I consider to be nor...

I cannot seem to find a way to get rid of the "Ch:1" info in my event list.
I cannot seem to find a way to get rid of the "Ch:1" info in my event list. I do not need it, I do not want to see it. I've de-selected everything in the toolbar above including pitch, controllers, mono & poly pressure, registered controllers, etc ... The only thing that gets rid of it...

Thanks! I knew about the option drag but not the option A. Always good to pick up more shortcuts.

Re: Looking for a way to select multiple tracks in the mix window
So, can this be done in the edit window, is there a way to change the sends/outputs/tracks across multiple tracks at the same time?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Looking for a way to select multiple tracks in the mix window
I'm looking for a way to select multiple tracks in the mix window. I can do it in the edit window by dragging or selecting, works just fine. I would like to be able to do the same thing when working in the mix window. And also in the mix window, is there a way to change the sends/outputs/tracks acro...

Re: Change the default labeling of my system?
Thanks! The scaling worked, very helpful. I guess there is no shortcut, I have to set up some templates. I just wish it wouldn't;t take the entire name ...
