Re: Catalina/Melda

As someone who supported (and helped build) an optimized Windows PC for a client when Windows 10 became prevalent, I can say this unequivocally ...no. Supporting that setup was the WORST experience in my professional life. The Uninstall and reinstall of drivers, ( 5 hours of figuring out that an old...

Re: DP10 available on the MOTU site NOW....

With new software, I always disable 3d party plugins when testing...so nope..thats not it. Then it's down to drivers on your system. Audio and MIDI drivers are the big culprits, but I've had Logitech USB drivers mess with MIDI timing in Live and DP. I was convinced it was Live because it happened m...

Re: DP10 available on the MOTU site NOW....

Ive been using it for about 2 hours..lots and LOTS of crashes.. The main ones have been involving the clips window I'm not experiencing any crashes in DP10. The obvious reason for crashes will always be plug ins, and plug ins are always going to present a new round of crashes in a new upgraded vers...

I haven't been on Motunation much lately and have not updated. Ive been running 10.14 for awhile now.

You can't order on the MOTU site that I can see. Do you have a link for that?
Let me rephrase that..
I've emailed the person that handles distribution for the store I work in
to order it as soon as it becomes available.

Re: DP{ 9.13 available

So...the improved pitch and time stretching algorighthm is definitely NOT in 9.13? Yes. Not in there. According to the demo that MOTU gave at the booth there will be a little drop down menu that you choose the time of algorithm and it is not there. Plus I have a source a MOTU that confirmed it will...

Re: DP9.01 and optimization

Hmm, DP 9.01 is running on my old MacPro (32 bit) and at 10 tracks it doesn't break a sweat. Something doesn't sound right. I wouldn't jump to blaming DP. My guess is it's either a bad install or you should be looking elsewhere for the problem. Just sayin. Phil ...and if not being clear enough, I'm...
