Glad you got it sorted.
Let me just add that naming the inputs and outputs on the Matrix page makes life better. The names auto-populate in the AVB Mixer and in Digital Performer.

...my 2010 iMac would take 3–5 days to render that file. Oh... I bought my first 14 core iMac Pro a few months later and it changed my life—and rendering the file again took 20 minutes (15min on my later 18 core and 4min on my current M2 Studio ). Love that M2 time! It's worth noting that the Apple...

EMRR knows!
The cool thing is that BOTH devices will be available in the master (connected to computer) device's AVB Mixer and Routing pages... so you set up the routing from the master and you will see all the inputs from both devices in your DAW and mix from a single AVB Mixer page in your browser.

Interesting.mikehalloran wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 9:21 am There is firmware in the Apple TB2–TB3 adapter. A few websites are recommending that the adapter be plugged into a TB3/4 port during a macOS update so that the adapter firmware updates as well.

Re: Go Big or Go Home?
Newer TVs may auto-select 4:4:4 when connected to a computer (or so I've read somewhere), but the details are NOT easy to find!

Re: Go Big or Go Home?
I wonder if there are some critical parameters that have to be satisfied. The other key (for response) is to be sure the monitor is running @ 60HZ, not 30. Also, as Tremo notes, native 4k resolution is optimal. You can scale DP itself if necessary. It is also desirable to set Chroma to 4:4:4 when u...

Re: How do I fix "unconfigured ports" for input on MIDI tracks?
You run into that when the MIDI Device is both a Hub and Controller. I used to see that on my Yamaha Motif, and on my S90ES. The weirdest one to set up was my Roland A800/A500:

Love Funk Logic. Very transparent sounding, no noise or coloration whatsoever.James Steele wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 10:48 am Does anybody remember Funk Logic? Looks like they just have one fake faceplate model now.
They have 1, 2 and 3-space rack mount units, plus 500 Series now. Freestanding desk model as well.

If nothing else, have it flash its lights to further enhance the studio magic.James Steele wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 4:31 pm I just found my old rack mount external clock unit. It’s a Lucid GENx192. I have some empty spaces to fill up. I’m gonna throw it in the rack and do some experiments with it.

Re: Go Big or Go Home?
Did you set up the TV to work at 60Hz and in Game (low latency) Mode? Otherwise, it is gonna' feel laggy. No reason it should slow down your computer.

I do not have this issue with my 828ES, Mac Studio, and the Apple TB Adaptor.

Yikes!
I've not had a similar experience, but my 828ES is used in a more typical studio setup.
Hope the show goes ok!
