When working in 29.97df, DP 9 & 11 won't let me zoom in all the way while in the sequence window
I recently upgraded to masOS Mojave from High Sierra. Running High Sierra, DP 8.07 used to work fine and had no issue handling audio post projects that were in 29.97df. DP 9.52 and a trial of DP 11.1 lock up whenever I open the sequence window and try to zoom in on a waveform... but this only happen...

OMFs out of Premiere into DP 8/9
Hello all,
Is there a way to get fades and mix automation to convey with an OMF that's been exported out of Premiere into DP 8 or 9?

DP9.52 sequence window locking up in 29.97df
Hello, Hoping someone can help me solve the following problem: In DP 9.52 when I'm working in 29.97 drop frame, if I open the sequence window to zoom in on an audio file waveform, DP 9.52 locks up with the eternal spinning color wheel. It takes forever to zoom in and out of files. This does not happ...

DP 9.52 metadata discrepancy
Hello, I'm hoping folks can weigh in and help me solve a metadata issue I'm having in Dp 9.52. Files that I have created in a project show a starting timestamp of 00:59:45:00 in the soundbites window. But once exported and then imported into Premiere, the files show a timestamp of 00:59:48:18. Anyon...

Re: Quickly assessing the duration of a VO take
My bad, sorry for the confusion dix. "Graphs" was just seared into my brain having just stepped out of the VO session. But hey, losing "para" is at least a second of your life you now have back to use however you please! Thanks again.

Re: Quickly assessing the duration of a VO take
Thx for the laugh MidiLife Crisis! By "graphs" I mean paragraphs. So it's a TV VO script. A graph could be one short sentence or 3 or 4 long sentences, depending on the scene. And rather than take it a graph at a time, this client likes to read up 7 or 8 graphs at a time for "flow.&qu...

Re: Quickly assessing the duration of a VO take
Thx for your reply. Interesting thought to use strip silence, I'll mess around with that. Problem is that it'll also strip the silence if the narrator "dramatic pauses" in a graph, which will then leave me with two separate files instead of one per graph, no?

Quickly assessing the duration of a VO take
Have started recording narration into DP 9.52 with a client who then wants an immediate report on the duration of a take. The only way the soundbites window is a helpful resource for file duration is if I take the time to edit out the dead space at the top/tail of a specific take (painfully awkward ...

Wanted to post on a post-production board option in hopes for additional input from someone else who might have a solution. But thanks for your prompt replies.

Inserting a QuickTime patch into a full length QuickTime
I’m using DP 9.52 to mix network content. Currently, I’m working with a client who has last minute changes to a project that was supposed to be pic locked. During the review session they want to see the full show with the patch integrated for playback. Is there a way to make DP insert a short segmen...

Re: DP latency issue when recording master audio file
Thanks for the suggestion, but have already tried disabling plug-ins one by one and this did not fix the issue.

Re: DP latency issue when recording master audio file
Ok cuttime, that's funny! Yes, this is a bit annoying and seems so nit picky... but technically, DP should keep my master audio recordings precisely in sync with my mix audio. I really need to solve the mystery or at least be able to explain why it's happening. Any other thoughts or suggestions from...

DP latency issue when recording master audio file
Anyone have a suggestion for how to eliminate a latency issue in DP 9.5. When I record a 5.1 or final stereo master audio track of my overall project mix, the audio in the new master file is delayed by about 1/4 of a frame from all the individual audio tracks in my mix. May not sound like enough of ...
