Re: BPM Update
That is my understanding as well St. Joe. It would be nice if they "refreshed" the older libraries to take advantage of the new features offered.. For now we will just have to continue using v.1.1.7 with the older libraries.

Re: BPM Update
Yup. I think it is pretty weak especially for those of us that have purchased several UVI soundbanks. Obviously they are trying move everyone to MachFive. I don't even see the purpose of UVI Workstation anymore even as a simple player. Who is gonna pay 99$ or more for a library that comes with no re...

Re: BPM Update
Also, v1.1.7 of the UVI Workstation will still be available and will work. Support will still be offered for it but it will not take advantage of the new scripting features available in the more recent UVI libraries.

Re: BPM Update
I asked about the effect on BPM and here is the response from the developer Olivier:
There is currently no plan to update the Rack feature of BPM.marsrock wrote: Are there plans to upgrade the Racks feature in BPM similar to UVI Workstation 2.0? Will this "cut down" down the current editing features?

Re: BPM Update
One of the UVI developers just posted on the KVRAudio forums that he expects BPM 1.5.1 to be released later this week. There was a troublesome bug that they have fixed that was holding things up.

Re: BPM = Virtual Drum Machine?
Hi John, BPM can be used in a live setting. There is a 'Live' mode which allows you to switch between different scenes on the fly. A 'Scene' can include any combination of patterns from banks A-D and any selected sequence parts from racks A-B. You can also drag and drop a MIDI pattern in any pad ban...

CueMix FX
Checked the MOTU website today and found that there is a new unified driver update. The new driver now allows CueMix FX to work with the 424 PCI-X/PCIe family of cards and interfaces! I thought that us lowly 2408, 192, 24io users would be left out in the cold forever. This is great news from MOTU an...

Re: BPM Update
Here is the latest from Olivier from one of my posts over at KVR. "Hi, * Website, manual, audio demos and stuff like that are being finished for M5v3. It shouldn't be much longer but unfortunately I can't say more as I have no control on this. The manual is going to be huge FWIW. * BPM update w...

Re: BPM Update
Well.. We are into August now and no sign of an update. Olivier, one of the developers, replied over at KVR with this last month: "marsrock wrote: Any updates on the M5 release Olivier? We are now approaching the middle of July.. Sometimes stuff takes more time that you would have though. (maki...

Re: MF2 and Logic/GB VIs
The problem could be related to CAF files. Most of the sample content supplied with Logic 9 and Garage Band is in the CAF format. I am not sure if Mach 5 supports this format. Try loading one of the Garage Band Apple Loops into Mach 5. Most of them are in the CAF format. If it loads then we know tha...

BPM Update
Hey Guys, I've talked to MOTU Support about pending updates for BPM and was told that the clip window crash and other issues have been fixed. They are just waiting on a word from the developers on a release. I hope they release it soon. We are fast approaching the 1 year mark of the release of 1.5! ...

Re: pads play mode settings
If you set the release value to "0" using the ADSR envelope it will do what you want.

Re: Axiom 25 pads and sample control
As Hugy already pointed out, the ADSR envelope is the solution. Just set the release to 0 and pad playback will function as you desire.
